Ignoring the trans-red bits, the wing pylons and wings themselves are technic-only without system pieces. I'm tempted to try building a full technic-only starfighter, that would provide an interesting challenge.

Based in a small way on the TIE/ad Avenger fighter from Star Wars. Thanks to JonHall18 over on flickr for suggesting the use of technic panels for the wings.
