Pretty nice! If TLC were to revive Blacktron II today, I could see it looking like this. Two questions for you:

1) Are the rubber bands needed, or just decorative? You get extra points if those nacelles, including the SNOT part, are fully connected with legal moves.

2) I don't much care for the model standing on those rear tail fins. Is it practical to add some landing gear, or to at least place something more substantial and flat-to-the ground at those aft contact points?

Thanks for the comment!

To answer your questions:

1) The elastic bands aren't needed, but it really helps. the back half has the old finger hinges to SNOT it up, but the front part tended to not stay together to well.

2) The actually is a landing gear of sorts, I just forgot to extend it. Maybe I'll take a picture showing it, though it's a fairly simply design, and it tilts to one side.

I'm not sure I like it. It's a bit disproportionate - the cockpit is too big and the engines too small. That said, it kind of looks like a piranha. I would personally try to go for the absurd fish look. Also, did you mean to write aerial and not ariel?

Woops, Yeah, I was supposed to write Aerial, and not Ariel. I am always misspelling that.

Fish like? Interesting. and now that you have said that, I can't get it out of my head. ;)

EDIT: Fixed now!

Like it overall, very Blacktron II looking. I love it when people use those 1/4 circle shell pieces but it does look a little large for just one person, I was thinking maybe if the pilot was a little higher and farther back an you filled the lower area with black pieces that might help, or it might not. Anyways it's a pretty minor thing and everything else is great, especially the little cargo box.

Thanks again for the comments!

I thought about making it higher, or perhaps two pilots, but my limited amount of SNOT work hindered me. I am still mostly a studs up person.

I like it a lot. Being a big fan of Blacktron and M-Tron and all.
I really like the cockpit and controls. I may have to attempt to recreate that control desgin for some of my fighters if you don't mind.

I think the rubber bands look good. They are white so it contiunes to add to the white and black theme of BII.

Cool stuff!
