I've been working on this now for a while, and finished it today (Click the picture to get to the album on flickr):

I'm especially proud of the cargo load/unload system, maybe I'll build some kind of dock for it:

Wow, the cargo container is very well done, and it fits in pefectly! The ship itself reminds me of the Puddle Jumpers from Stargate, only in yellow. The mechaninism for holding in the cargo container is simple, yet effective. Exellent job, can't wait to see mroe!

Yeah you're right! But since I didn't know that ship until now that was not intended... Lol. :D

Very nice. I love the sticker usage. My only nit is that the technic holes on the inside of the pointy panels seem like they should have something attached, so that they look more like they're supposed to be there.

P.S. Please remind me to add GHL to the factions list once we get that page up and running. I should have some time to work on it after a 4/30 conference deadline. :csmini:

Thanks, but I haven't done much with the stickers at all. I just took the panels off the excavator with the original stickers on them as they were... :P

Looking at it again I agree with you at this point... Maybe I should place one of those telephone pieces in dk bley there?

Nice already-stickered parts usage then. :csmini:

As I said, I might build a dock for it. If I do so, I'll try that out.

Ha! I love it.

In fact, I bought the yellow panels and the stickers from the lego set that they are from, just so I could build a new ship!
Currently waiting for the Bricklink order to arrive in le mail....

Nice work. :-)
