The folks over at FBTB are holding another star-fighter contest, this one to create an Alphabet Fighter. Thought I'd post my entry here as well.

What a machine, like the design, but, huge plastic pieces with a predetermined design shape. The combination of them is good and it creates a ship that does not look like Lego . Therefore, a big thumb up.

Great ship. I like the droid body as flight controls. Can a figure actually hold the grips?

Thanks everyone for the comments and compliments. I've actually updated the engines underneath based on a fair critique, and swapped out the photo above.

Yes, but just barely by the edges of the hands... It all depends on the angle of the minifig body, and the position of the arms (since the hands get closer together as they swing up).

I tried it once before in this table-scrap MOC. Same thing where the one hand grabs it by its edge.

I like the way You used the bionicle/technic parts. It's quite detailed MOC. Nice engines and the "substance".

I'm not the greatest SW fan, but MOC is quite climatic.
