Hey guys, I been away for a while and didnt even realise this site was back up, after the contest deadline i kept checking for the results for what seemed like months and then the site vanished
Anyway id like to say thanks again for running this and thanks for all the input from Nabii
i really appreciate what you said about my models, For my $50 entry " It is a bit too reminiscent of the Mar Mission theme though" I totaly agree but i honestly had no idea , infact i only started collecting lego again last year (since been a kid ) and never had any mars mission sets ( i bought the minifigs on ebay just for this contest) then i got THE LEGO BOOK and was shocked to see on the mars mission page how similar my entry was
But i can honestly say i was trying to build something influenced from 1950s style martians (like Mars Attacks) kinda like the new space Alien Conquest theme
Well its nice to see the site back , Hope there will be a new contest soon
