Minimized Space Sets

Postby Legostein » Sat May 07, 2011 8:08 am

Hello everybody!

It's a great pleasure to finally contribute something to this nice forum. :)

Besides doing mini models for Star Wars, and several other Science Fiction series, I recently started to also minimize official LEGO® space sets. Space has always been one of my favourite themes as a child and still today, and the mini versions remind me back to those days. Maybe you feel the same. :)

I'd like to start with a summary image and then present the separate vessels to you. All images are links to the relates BrickShelf gallery where you can find detailed views from all sides as well as free building instructions. :)

That's all for now. :)

Thanks for stepping by, and have a great week-end!

Great work! I really like them all, and they're instantly recognizable. I think the Classic Space 6929 Starfleet Voyager is my favorite, with the opening back.

Looking forward to checking out your Brickshelf galleries.

I utterly amazed at what a great job you did miniaturizing these sets. You have done such a superb job, I really hope you end up building evey set in miniature! Heck, I want to build some now.

A while back I posted the mini Allied Avenger on my blog. You can check it out here.

Simple, yet imaginative. Great work. The each look like the real sets, too!
