Announcing: Colour it Blacktron II Contest

Well, some of you have been waiting for it, others have not, but should have, but here it is!

Colour it Blacktron II Contest!

Things are a little different then last one. This time, you can build any old creation OR an official set In the colour scheme of Blacktron I, or II

Rules:

-NO clone brands (Custom pieces are fine)
-Digital entries are allowed
-No piece or size limit (Do the UCS Millienium Falcon if you so please)
-No Blacktron 3 please. Lets try to keep it to the original themes, shall we?

Contest will end June 30, whatever timezone you see fit.

Prizes (assuming my Bricklink order comes through):

1st Place: A used 6894 Invader complete with instructions, with a Blacktron II minifig

2nd place: A used 6832 Super Nova 2, without instuctions.

It's not much, but it's something, and hopefully it will make you want to build some Blacktron, whether it be I or II

On the last note, check out This. It should be quite useful in determing the correct colour scheme for both Blacktrons.

Just a quick little update.

The bricklink order is on it's way, so the prizes are assured, unless my mail services screws up.

I've actually built an entry, I just haven't photographed/posted it. I'm hoping to be the only entry and win it all.

I do have a question, though. I'm using a this but it doesn't come in Trans Yellow (for the BT1 color scheme). Is this okay?

That certianitly is one way to win it.

To answer your question, yes, that canopy can be used. I have seen enough exellent Blacktron creations that use Smoke canopies that I feel it is alright.
