What Space sets do you own?

Postby Admiral Netsooj » Thu Jun 02, 2011 10:02 pm

It seems most people seem to build in themes other then the official themes, so I thought i'd see what official space stuff you do have. This topic is to list what sets you own, and if you like, add a bit of info on what your favorite theme is.

Official, being any set that is outerspace stuff, but not Star Wars, on modern day type shuttles and stuff

I'll go first. My sets, in no particular order:

1887 Scout Patrol Ship
6812 Grid Trekkor
6832 Supernova 2 (I never bought the set, just all the pieces seperately)
6851 Tri-Wheeled Tyrax
6878 Sub Orbital Guardian
6887 Allied Avenger
6933 Spectral Starguider
6981 Aerial Intruder
6988 Alpha Centuari Outpost
6923 Stardefender 200
7645 MT-61 Crystal Reaper
7647 MX-41 Switch Figther
7648 MT-21 Mobile Mining Unit
7694 MT-31 Trike
7695 MX-11 Astro Fighter (2x)
7697 MT-51 Claw Tank Ambush
6813 Galactic Chief
6852 Sonar Security
5969 Squidman Escape
5970 Freezeray Frenzy (2x)
5971 Gold Heist (4x)
5972 Space Truck Getaway
5973 Hyperspeed Pursuit
5981 Raid VPR (2x)
5982 Smash 'n' Grab
5983 Undercover Cruiser
5984 Lunar Limo
6835 Saucer Scout
1843 Space/Castle value pack (My first space set, and for the longest time, my only one)
6704 Minifig pack (Minus the two M-trons)
6836 V-wing Fighter

And the ones that are ambiguous:

7050 Alien Defender
7052 Alien Abduction
7309 Rover
7310 Mono Jet
7211 Red Planet Cruiser

I shall update this list as I get new sets. Also, if Blake could stiky this thread so it doesn't get lost, that would be awesome.

Anyways, what sets do YOU have?

My collection of Lego consists of two basic subdivisions: My "MOC Pool" (loose Lego that I have in various containers for making MOCs), and my "Near-Mint Collection" of sets that I've kept in boxes w/ instructions because I couldn't bear to part them out.

Early childhood sets that were long ago taken apart and dispersed into my MOC Pool, before I was old enough to know better :p :

6842 Shuttle Craft - My very first space set!
897 Mobile Rocket Launcher
6901 Mobile Lab
6927 All-Terrain Vehicle
6880 Surface Explorer - my first yellow space man!
6890 Cosmic Cruiser

A restored childhood set (and one of my all-time favorites):

6929 Star Fleet Voyager

After my first dark ages, I wised up and started saving sets w/ boxes and instructions. They were just too cool. ;)

Boxed sets:

1580 Lunar Scout
6808 Galaxy Trekkor
6827 Strata Scooter
6883 Terrestrial Rover
6894 Invader
6932 Stardefender 200
6941 Battrax
6703 Minifig Pack - I did eventually take these guys out for my MOCs, but kept the box
6809 XT-5 and Droid
6828 Twin-Winged Spoiler
6848 Strategic Pursuer
6875 Hovercraft
6876 Alienator
6925 Interplanetary Rover
6810 Laser Ranger
6831 Message Decoder
6850 Auxiliary Patroller
6895 Spy-Trak 1
6897 Rebel Hunter
6957 Solar Snooper
6813 Galactic Chief
6852 Sonar Security
1722 Rescue / Ice Planet Combi Pack
6814 Ice Tunnelator
6834 Celestial Sled
6879 Blizzard Baron
6898 Ice-Sat V
6705 Space Explorers - x2; put the figs with my MOC Pool, but kept the boxes.
6835 Saucer Scout
6889 Recon Robot
6939 Saucer Centurion
1787 Crater Cruiser
1789 Star Hawk II
6516 Moon Walker
6815 Hovertron
6854 Alien Fossilizer
6856 Planetary Decoder
6899 Nebula Outpost
6463-1 Lunar Rover
7312 T3-Trike
7692 MX-71 Recon Dropship

Loose (complete) sets I've gotten used:
6811 Pulsar Charger
1479 2-Pilot Craft
6832 Super Nova II
6887 Allied Avenger

Newer sets that I've gotten for parts, and are mixed into my MOC Pool:

1785 Introducing Crater Critters
2151 Robo Raider
6818 Cyborg Scout
6829 Radon Rover
6836 V-Wing Fighter
6900 Cyber Saucer - came with a life-size invader mask; probably why I didn't end up keeping the box :?
6817 Beta Buzzer
6837 Cosmic Creeper
6903 Bug Blaster
7693 ETX Alien Strike
7694 MT-31 Trike
7695 MX-11 Astro Fighter x2
7646 ETX Alien Infiltrator
5969 Squidman Escape
5973 Hyperspeed Pursuit
5981 Raid VPR x4
5982 Smash 'n' Grab x2
5983 SP Undercover Cruiser

And that should be it, not counting the City, Castle, Technic and other non-space sets I've acquired over the years. Also not counting loose Bricklink space parts.

Reserving spot for list. I have to go through my instructions to make sure what all I have.

Edit:
Classic space sets My parents bought me when I was a kid:
886 Space buggy
889 Radar Truck
6805 Astro Dasher
6810 Laser Ranger
6808 Galaxy Trekkor
6824 Space Dart I
6827 Strata Scooter
6891 Gamma V Laser Craft My favorite by far.
I didn't know until last year that my Gamma V was packaged wrong. Mine came with a trans-red antenna for the back half of the ship instead of trans-yellow.

Most of the other sets I have from a kid are Technic sets.

My wife found this one at a garage sale:
Mars Mission Master builders
The rest of my space sets are current Mars Mission and Star Wars.
And I have a bunch of Power miner, Indiana Jones, City, Toy Story, Castle, and Bionicle.
