In Flickr, I am...

Postby Sir Michael Le Fanu » Tue Jun 28, 2011 6:24 pm

I just joined flickr. If you wish to befriend me, my ID is Daydream Builder.

@_zenn:
I've already added you to my contacts because I knew your flickr ID.

I am unsure how long I will stay on flickr, because last time I was a member, I barely used it. Just a heads up.

Excellent! Well, a big part of the lego community is using flickr these days, so it's nice way to experience others builders moc's.

Is it easier to use flickr or brickshelf? I haven't made the switch yet myself; it seems like it might not be worth it.

But why? I'm really just frustrated with the slowness in uploading in Brickshelf; is that better in Flickr?

Flick has amny advantages, especially if you get the pro acocunt, which will cost you $25 a year. The comment and note features are extremely useful, and uploading is much faster.

I use both, but that is becasue I am too cheap to get a pro acocunt, and I still like the simplicity of Brickshelf.

New uploads are coming soon! Expect some within the next 2 days.

I am currently putting the finishing touches on 3 speeder bikes (thanks for the tips, _zenn) and a pseudo-M-Wing (based on that of John Palmer).

I only use flickr, when I'll reach a max of 200 pic's I'll go pro. But still got room for like 120 so it might take a while.
