Afetr a long time of waiting for Bricklink orders to come in, computer problems, and just a bit of procrastination thrown in for good measure, I am finally posting my largest SHIP to date. Also, I apologize in advance for any and all not so good photos. I have a new camera, and am still getting used to it.



There is no backstory to this, other then I just wanted to build the biggest Blacktron SHIP I could. Total lengh from the tip of the anteneas to the tail end of the engines is 150 studs.



The ship has three seperate shuttle bays. #1 (The most forward one) is the fighter bay, #2 (port side) is the actual Shuttle bay, and #3 (starboard) is the cargo bay and ramp.

Vary cool the bridge is similar to my interplanetary crawler bridge. (witch I need to post) can’t wait to see the interior when public. Polaris sounds more like a Exploriens name than blacktron.

I think it's pretty cool. She suffers from a little too much big-box-syndrome and the engines look like they were an afterthought. However, without a lot of SNOT (which I also avoid most of the time) that's about as good as it'll get. I really like the use of the minifig stands as tiles, and the way it has modules put together is neat, too. I guess it could use work, but you'd have to start over, so don't.

I personally don't mind craft not using SNOT, it just makes it look more like LEGO made it, while SNOT will make it more "physically appealing" it isn't always nesscary.

But having some space for fighters, that is awesome. I love the use of panels with the blacktron symbol in the front.

The infirmary is vary cool but what is the room next to the door. why there a Lom alien in the engine room?

legosammy: The room next door to the infirmary is the rather cramped crew quarters. I still have to work on that bit. As for the LoM aliean, well, who said all Blacktrons are human?
