I was thinking the same thing! This carrier is nice!

Way better than the one I am making. Good job!

Hi everybody, thanks so far for your feedback. Nice to hear that this SHIP looks like something from homeworld, I have to look it up in the internet (or maybe someone has a link to the carrier he had in mind) because I do not play computer games. Yes, the inner structure is completly studs-up and the whole ship is quite stable and rigid. The engine section in the bow has a kind of "box section" at the bottom to make it extremly stiff.
A sample image you can find under the following link! http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5151909

I thought of having an retratable landing gear, but I decided not to go for it because I would never use it. The whole SHIP is far to heavy to lift, it was straight forward for me not to invest to much time and material into the landing gear. I'm open for any further comments and critics, because there will be a MK3 version in the future.

Be the bricks with you

Big much!
Thats like a triple supersized supersized sandwich that came pre-supersized!

But then again, thats just like most SHIPS, so i should shut up.

If you take a look at This picture, you can clearly see that almost all the pieces used in that area are Megablocks. The black round pieces are also clearly not Lego.

To answer the question in respect of MB - yes this SHIP consists out of MB and LEGO, all blue parts are LEGO and most of the interior too. The rest, and this is a lot, is MB. For that reason I posted in the old portal in the mutant section or better I was moved there. This topic insane constrution seems to be a problem, if so, please let me know and I will not disturb you any more.

I thought amercians love supersized things ;-) , my son isn't one and believe me he loves it. I thought I included enough details and structure that makes it more than a bubbled up SHIP, I will work on it with the MK 3 version.

One more thing to the mutant situation, for me it is the fun to build with brick and I prefer the space theme, the only place in the web where they handle space only is that forum. So that was the reason why I have choosen it.

Thanks again

Canadian, actually. But we like 'em supersized too!

The only thing I dislike is the Mega Bloks, otherwise it's fine.

Yet I still have a soft spot for MB because it's Canadian made. LEGO 'sued' them into not being able to sell outside North America.

Random facts.

Hi "legosammy" and "MTronHeroKodiak", I followed the link and I can't work out which ship you mean. Under that link are many space-crafts and even carriers, one of them you said looks similar like mine but I can' find it. Apologize for me, I have never been in that world before.

Please help
