LL-459 Stellar Observation Craft (SOC)

Apologies in advance to anyone who may have used this designation already (though I first checked on this forum, flickr, and neoclassicspace.com).

I decided to build a little research craft. I used simple techniques, but all the same had a lot of fun making it. Unfortunately, I ran out of light grey parts, so there is colour mismatch.

To make the craft a bit more interesting, I gave it some kind of windscreen protective cover (which I've called StarShield Tech. Mk 1, hahah).

I hope you enjoy looking at the pics as much as I've enjoyed building it.

I imagine the shield is used for whenever this ship uses whatever form of hyperdrive/FTL drive/warpcore/whatever. Looks good too. The entire ship is quite nice and chunky. You really nailed the Classic Space colour scheme.
