Octan in Space

Postby Blake » Sat Dec 17, 2011 3:20 pm

I've ended my six month building hiatus! This is going to be some sort of space refueling station. There's not much to see yet. Eventually there will be brick-built terrain under this.

Well done there Blake! It appears your Hiatus's end is really bringing out the good! Octan is really becoming a trend in the Space community.

It took a lot of tinkering. The sides don't make perfect Pythagorean triples. but there's enough play in the hinges that it doesn't matter.

Great Terrain-I love the nice solar-wind blown sand effect. Very good technique.

Thanks! This evening I got the platform to support the weight of the ship, which allowed me to take the photo I wanted to take yesterday.
