Space Pirates "Sudden Death" - or: Pimp my 5972...

His name is Gunpowder-Ivy. He’s not very fast. He’s not very smart. But he has something not many men own: A big gun, mounted on a heavily modified pickup.
He’s not very skilled – but using his cannon he truly can. Thus he managed to become the right hand of the boss and can be found everywhere, where firepower is needed.

I basically liked set 5972, but was a bit disappointed after I had built it. So I tried to improve it, which lead to a completely new construction, where only the basic concept (gun mounted on a truck) remained.

I was a bit disappointed with that set, too. Your version looks great!

Wow. That gun looks really great, and so do the greebs at the bottom. The truck bed also looks cool.

Wow man - this is every bit good enough to be a real set. Your gun build is just sick! Definitely diggin' the spotlights on the cab too.

A very, very nice looking redition of the set! The engines especilly are nice! Really makes me want to update my set into more of a proper pickup (Which I think I shall do.)

Though I have this feeling he is more likely to be pulled over by a cop now ;)
The first theory of Ketchup: With enough Ketchup, everything tastes the same.

Heh, if Fazoom's S.M.A.C mkII is excellent version of previous MOC, your "Sudden Death" is equally excellent version of set. The MOC takes that set's idea and takes it to the next level!

I really like the feeling of heaviness you have managed to build in this creation. It feels more like pick-up truck who thinks it is tank than just a truck that's hiding something and that's very good thing. I like especially the more modern turret you have in the MOC. It seems like Gunpowder-Ivy managed to stole a turret from battleship?

Only thing that I need to critisize is the lack of other pimped out Space Police sets :space:

It looks like the Space Police need to step up their game. If the pirates have no compunction about even hiding their heavy artillery, I think there is trouble!
