Well made & easy to clean! I am Ukrainian and I make peirogi’s. THIS makes roling out the dough so much easier! My granddaughters helped me make pasta! There was no tearing or unevenness. To those who have rolled pasta by hand you will feel like you are cheating! Hint for great pasta, add a tsp of Baking Powder. Pasta will be soooo tender!

Took a cooking class at an Italian Restaurant and the chef used a KitchenAid Pasta Roller and Cutter. We ordered ours the next day. Very easy for one person to use. Very reliable. KitchenAid warranty. Makes creating pasta easy and fun.

This set of 1 roller and 2 cutters is solid and well made, and I expect it to last the rest of my lifetime. My daughter has already spoken for it, and expects to inherit it or take ownership if I get tired of using it! My first batch of home-made pasta was successful, and fun to make. After mixing the dough in the Kitchenaid mixer bowl with the included instructions, I found it to be quite dry and crumbly, though a few minutes of hand kneading made the dough more uniform and cohesive. I cut it into 4 approximately equal sized chunks, mashed them down a bit into a roughly rectangular shape with a rolling pin, and started to feed the first chunk through the rollers. The first batch of dough rolled out evenly into nice rectangular strips of thin golden dough, and I was feeling quite smug about my success! The second batch had a tendency to shift to one side or the other between the rollers and would bunch up and then the dough would start to shred. I doubled the dough and tried it again, bunched it up into a ball again, but ended up wasting quite a bit of it. Two of the 4 batches came out beautifully, and the other 2 with mixed results. I suppose I will get better at this with practice.

After all of the dough was rolled out, I attached the spaghetti cutter, which was a breeze to use. It takes no time at all to feed all of the dough strips into the cutter. I left the spaghetti noodles on my marble cutting board to dry for a few hours. Then I only needed to boil in the salted water for 3-4 minutes. The dough was firm but not mushy, and held the sauce quite well.

Altogether, I probably invested about 45 minutes of active time to produce a batch of dough large enough for 4-6 servings. Of course, it’s easier to just buy a box of pasta at the grocery store, but making it is so much fun and the results are delicious. Can’t wait for my next batch !

If you like making pasta, this set is worth it’s weight in gold. SO MUCH EASIER than a handcrank roller with better results. Much smoother pasta and better at kneading cold dough. Love it! Wish I bought it sooner.

What a WONDERFUL piece of culinary equipment ! This was a Christmas gift for my husband (the Chef !), and he loves it ! All the pasta he’s made using this equipment has come out perfect, and everything tastes great 😀

I had just gotten the KitchenAid and really wanted to try to past attachments. I love these and they were really easy to use. Much better than making the pasta with an old crank machine.

These attach easily to the mixer and are easy to use. They are very expensive, as all kitchenaid attachments are, but amazon had the best price by far. High quality product, works exactly how it’s supposed to. 5 star product.
