Lights after a few months turn yellow!! One season! They do not respond to emails to the fact that their products do not work well in the weather. Never again. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Refused to acknowledge a poor product. No lights should turn yellow like this after a year. WASTE OF MONEY!!

They started turning yellow after about a week in the sun. The solar panels developed a film which prevents them from capturing light, resulting in the light staying on for about an hour, after a full day charge. I would avoid.

I truly love these solar powered outdoor 4X4 post lights. I bought these to go around the deck of my pool, and they are so pretty at night. They put off much more light than I would have imagined! I actually bought more than 4, as I had 10 posts around the pool deck, so I put the 2 extra ones on the posts of my front porch ramp, and they light the ramp at night so you can see where you are walking without any other light. I am thinking of ordering a few more for the other side of my front porch. I would recommend these to anyone who needs a little extra light, or just for the looks, as they are very pretty at night.

The best thing about these lights is the price. I bought 6 of them they worked for a few nights pretty well although a couple had to be turned off and on again to get them started. Now only 4 of the 6 come on with out messing with the switch and they only stay on about 3 to 4 hour even after a bright sunny day of exposure. I replaced the batteries in 2 of them after a weeks use and that did’t help.
They don’t really fit on a 4 X 4 post. they measure 4 1/2 ” X 4 1/2 ” I had to make a spacer so they would fit. The mounting screws are too short and poor quality.
I suggest spend a little more and get better lights.

I wasn’t sure how to review this product. I was looking for lights for my pvc decking and this product seemed to fit the bill for a fraction of the price. I had two working lights that I needed to match with two more that had quit working. Those lights were about $35 each at Lowe’s. Theses seemed a bargain at 4 for $36! I could replace all four and still be ahead! I read reviews of other products and I don’t remember this one using the word plastic but they were. They were cheap looking compared to the two I had. Another review mentioned that the tab to activate the battery was missing on two, suggesting they were refurbished and I had the same experience. As soon as I unpacked them, I wanted to send them back. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they were prompt to acknowledge my request and make it possible. I knew they weren’t Prime eligible so I figured I’d be paying return postage. How bad can it be, I thought? It’s a flat rate box! $17.95 bad! That’s how bad it can be! So, I ended up going to Lowe’s and buying the one’s I needed in the first place. I was out an additional $17.95 for shipping. My bad. Like I said, the seller handled the return promptly but the product wasn’t what I was looking for.

Purchased 8 of these fence post lights for my dog run, with them on every other post. They worked surprisingly well and added excellent ambiance, so I bought 6 more to have them on every post. There are much more expensive and thus more elegant lights on the market, but for my application these have done the job perfectly.

These lights are terrible. They are made of cheap flimsy plastic and have completely stopped working in less than 2 months even though they receive full sunlight all day. I believe I deserve a return and credit, I have never experienced a product (solar) that is completely useless in less than 6 weeks of use.

I recently completed construction on my deck and decided to add these solar lights for ambiance. They were easy to install and give off a light that is soft and inviting. Good purchase for me and the deck…there are compliments abound!
