I bought this for my husband, he was very surprised to receive such an interesting and useful garden hose. He often complained that the regular hose he bought in local supermarket was too heavy and somehow easily leaked, completely not a good watering company. I looked for a lot of hoses on the Internet and then found this expendable, lightweight hose to him.
When he received it and can’t wait to use it to water our plants in garden to see how the hose expands. “This is exactly what I want!” he almost yelled out. He really liked it and I was happy too. He especially enjoys the light weight and portable volume, which actually is good for him to handle during watering. As for the biggest feature of this hose, the ability of expanding, he loves it very much. We have used it for 5 times so far and it’s doing a great job. We are totally satisfied with it. Great quality for the price. And it seems to be a firm hose that will last a long time. Try it!

First of all, I want to state categorically that I didn’t have any discount for this, I paid full whack, so I don’t owe anyone any glowing reviews. I’m a middle-aged housewife with arthritis and a big garden, and here in the southwest of US we are not gettng any rain. I have been hauling buckets of water to keep the plants alive, so decided to bite the bullet and order one of these. First thing I did was email the seller to make sure this is for the US market, I’ve been burned on other items before and don’t like the postage to send things back. Once I was assured it was for the US market, I went ahead and ordered one. I have used it twice, and have been very impressed. Yes, the coupling does fit to my outside tap, and there is a washer in it already. The tap does spray a bit, but I have a large garden and by the time I’ve done the whole thing I don’t think I’ve had more than half a litre of spray, so I can deal with that. The trick to using one of these hoses is to calm down and let the water do the work. The hose has to fill and that stretches it to full length. First time I used the hose, I didn’t think it could possibly stretch to 50 feet, but today I shut up and let the water do the work, and it fit around the whole front of the house. Well chuffed! The other thing I love is the sprayer attachment, it’s wonderful. With so many different choices, there’s one for every corner of the garden, and I think I have used all of them in the past couple of days. They don’t just have choices, what each one is marked on the side of the spraygun so you can see what you’re looking for. Very handy. I see that it comes witha a hanger, which is really convenient for me to store the hose. This hose has been a great help to me in my garden. Admittedly, I have only used it a couple of times and what the durability will prove to be is anyone’s guess, but for the moment I am very pleased with it and only wish I’d taken the opportunity to purchase one earlier. It would have saved me hours watering the garden, when I could have been weeding.

My husband used to take longer in untangling our regular hose and then fighting against kinks, than actual time using it. It seemed as he needed half a day just to set it and store it away.
He asked me for a wall mounted hose reel and instead I bought him this hose.
At first he was like… “”Darling, this is not what I asked you for””
As if I didn’t know the difference between a hose reel and an expanding hose 😉
But I asked him to simply try it and after trying it… Well I made 100% the right choice as he came back and said “”What do you want me to do with the old hose?””

PROS

-Connection
This is not the hose lock / click and turn quick fitting connection…
So this means is you cannot just plug it a power washer or similar unless you get an adaptor.
But for my needs, this hose is exactly what I need it.
The screw connection has always been much better for me as it saved me getting an adaptor for my garden tap.

If you want to use it on your kitchen tap, you will also need an adapter.

-Size
Very light and compact when not in use.
So it doesn’t take much space.
Once in use… Be prepared to be surprised with its 50ft in length.

-Material
The hose is made of what seems a soft hose on the inside covered in stretchy nylon material.
On one end, the brass screw type connection.
On the other end a spray gun with 9 different spray settings and a stop valve.
The spray gun has all this settings, also shown on the picture.

-Quality and performance
No Kinks
Extremely strong and tough
Well made
Full flow regardless how much you twist or turn with it
Much better than standard classic ones
Light
Easy to drain and put back away.
Takes a lot less space than traditional ones.

Well, with this hose it’s definitely not the case. You will not feel disappointed in any way, shape or form.

I am really happy with this garden hose! It’s super lightweight, and doesn’t kink or tangle up which is a big improvement upon my old, more traditional one, which would at times stop the flow of water altogether when it got kinked – This one hasn’t done that once! It appears to be very well made, looks great, and expands up to 50ft. It fitted onto my outdoor tap easily, and I was really pleased to see that it has brass fittings, rather than the cheaper plastic ones I’ve seen around. One of the best things about it is that it takes up so much less room, and another is that the nozzle has 9 different settings to it – so it’s just as great for watering the plants, as it is to wash the car! With all of this in mind, I am happy to recommend this hose – It does the job well, and I think it represents very good value for money too.
