As for installation, it was a breeze. Just make sure you have the tools you need: braided toilet connector, anchor bolts, deep well socket, adjustable wrench, silicon caulk, and wax ring. The instructions for installation were very clear.

I used an old towel and laid the toilet bowl on upside down then put a bead of silicon all around the base. After installing the wax seal, I carefully lowered the toilet over the projecting bolts and wiggled it down to get a good wax seal. Once the toilet was aligned, I cleaned tightened down the anchor bolts CAREFULLY. Make sure the plastic tapered washer is installed correctly to help spread out the force of the nut. I started by hand-tightening and when I couldn’t tighten anymore, I gave it a quarter turn with a wrench. Cleaned up the caulking on the floor, then installed the tank (same process with washers, hand-tightening, then quarter turn). All done!

Toilet report: flushes great. Water level was easy to adjust. I just installed in the other day so haven’t had to opportunity to “really test” it yet… I can report back.

As a bonus, I used the leftover boxes and built a 3-room house for my daughter. The boxes are VERY STURDY!
