Just received our Anker PowerConf the other day and used it for the first time this morning. We travel 100% of the time for business and have multiple teleconferences every week sometimes in an office setting, but sometimes in a hotel, a school, or the “mobile office” (our car). I have long wanted a portable teleconference speakerphone, but have never been able to find a product like this one before.
The speaker feels solid and well made; just a little bit heavy in a reassuring way (light enough to tote around, but feels like it’s not going to break while traveling). Still has a slight factory/chemical smell, but I only unboxed it this morning. The case is nice and sturdy, but I do not think it will accommodate the speaker and the charging cord; that’s ok since I keep all of my chargers and tech attachments in a separate bag that travels with me.
Based on two calls this morning: it charged quickly (USB C), it was easy to set up without even looking at the instructions, it gave us clear call quality (we connected to my cellphone over bluetooth), the volume adjusted quickly and got nice and loud, and was easy to see when we were muted or not muted. I have not yet tried to connect to a computer with our teleconference software (zoom) or with a cord, nor have I tried to charge a device from the speaker. I did stream a podcast to the speaker for a couple of minutes, and it sounded pretty good. Honestly I was so excited about having a teleconference speaker, it didn’t occur to me that this would also just be a great bluetooth speaker for podcasts or music, but it’s pretty nice to have that option in the same device.
I’ve never written an Amazon review before, but I’m just so excited this speaker exists. I can’t count how many times I’ve been traveling and joined a teleconference only to find myself straining to hear or needing to pass the phone around to each person speaking. I’ve been wishing for a product like this for so long, and for me the price ($129) is well worth it. It’s super nerdy, but I can’t wait for our next teleconference to bust out this little speaker again!

I purchased this to use in a classroom. I teach classes with students in two location connected via Zoom Meetings. The webcam and mic at the remote location are stuck at the front of the room, and as most students want to sit near the back, it was difficult for the mic to pick them up.
I connected the Anker Powerconf via bluetooth and placed it in the middle of the classroom. The pairing process was a snap using an $8 TP-Link bluetooth USB dongle on a Windows 10 machine. Moving the mic closer to the students improved the sound quality greatly, and while it doesn’t match something like the Rode Wireless Go (which I use on the other end so I can walk around), it’s quite acceptable. The speaker is OK for small groups, but since it’s in a larger classroom I’ll probably end up connecting it to something bigger like the Anker Flare+ or an Amazon Echo via a (not included) 3.5 mm aux cable. The driver is 1.75″, about the same as the one in an Echo Dot.
Included in the box are a nice zippered hard case, a USB-A to USB-C cable for charging and connecting it to a computer, and some instructions.
Overall it’s a great little package that fits my needs well. It looks nice and has a satisfying heft to it. I haven’t had it long enough to test the battery life, but it made it through a three hour class without breaking a sweat. I had been looking at the Jabra 710, but this comes in at just over half the price. If you’re looking for a portable small-group speakerphone, I think this is worth considering.
Received my speakerphone this afternoon and used it for a conference call earlier this evening. Very impressed with both the build quality and the clarity of the sound on this speaker – really superb. This is better sound than the expensive speakerphones we have in conference rooms at work. Iâve been an Anker customer for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Excellent company making consistently high quality products.

Anker is the best electronic supplier — huge variety, best quality. This speakerphone is the same. It has powerful sound, great functions, and easy to take with you. I personally really love the outer design — simple and modern. As a new product just launched, I highly recommend it to whoever needs it for conference or other professional occasions.

It has a loud speaker and the buttons on the device are compatible with my Android. Voice clarity is good too
Flashing lights and occasional echo. Also, it has an auto shut off feature that turns the device off after 30 minutes.
It’s ok. I might send it back.

I bought this conference speaker for my “home office”. It works greatly right out of the box. I tested it with a few of my customers and I can hear them clearly and they told me that they can also catch what I talked to them clearly. And most important for me, it only costs me $129.99. At this price level, I think Anker PowerConf Bluetooth speakerphone shall be highly recommended.

“Just get it for a few days but I have to say, it is a very good conference speaker!
Good and solid design. Very easy to set up and fast Bluetooth connection. There is a built in battery which enables you to use it anywhere. Very good sound quality. No echoing and background noises.
I definitely recommend this speaker for home, office, or travel!”
I have been using this guy for a whole afternoon. It is great. The design is simple but nice looking. Mic and speaker work well. The charger works well. It is a portable way to enhance your experience if you want to have a conference with someone using Skype. Nice.
