I purchased these based on the many good reviews that they have received and, as a result, I am rather disappointed. What other reviews fail to mention is that these aren’t “good utensils”, they are “good utensils at this price point” — big difference.

Overall, these are rather inadequate for any normal grilling needs. The utensils are the same length as your typical kitchen utensil, which makes using them over a hot grill rather unpleasant — it basically requires heat-resistant gloves. The case, though flashy, is relatively cheap and the interior and velcro straps are no good for easy of access. The kits where the utensils “pop” into place are far superior. Additionally, the tongs that are provided are practically a grip trainer… Your forearm will become very tired, very quickly just doing basic things like trying to turn over a few pieces of chicken. It’s unbearable. I found myself going back inside and getting my kitchen Oxo tongs to use instead.

So, what do I like about this set? Well, the way they combine a knife with the spatula is rather interesting. It seems weird at first, but I find that it actually works rather well. It is a light weight set that is easy to travel with, if that’s what you’re looking for (I was not).

All in all, be aware that what you are purchasing is not a good overall grilling set. What you are buying is a marginally useful set that looks nice, is easy to travel with and costs very little. I would imagine that for most people, this set is not very useful… Especially if you are cooking over high heat.

Kind of disappointed because I read all the other reviews and people raving over this set. I got it for my fiancé for Xmas and when he went to use the tongs to grab a steak and flip it, it just kept slipping out. Tongs don’t grip well. Looks nice, but not really functional. Would not buy again.

This tool set is great! The case it comes in is very handy and keeps everything very secure inside. All of the utensils are well made. My only complaint would be that the spatula is a little flimsy when flipping heavier items but overall this is a great product. I would definitely purchase again as a gift.

It’s rare that I actually surprise my husband. This set blew him away! The tools have QUALITY, so many accessories, and the case is well-built. He can use it at home, the park, camping, anywhere.

Awesome set ! Came perfectly packaged as well . I haven’t used the set yet , but just from handling the tools you can tell they are of very high quality.

Purchased this set as a gift and the receivers were definitely not disappointed! This set comes in a beautiful silver case with all the necessary tools needed to BBQ. I Highly recommend!

Very nice set with case. We have this BBQ set in out travel trailer. The only draw back is there is no cooking fork. Great quality for the price.

This BBQ Grill tool set is great. I would recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves to grill. It’s just so classy and the case is cool and if you want you can engrave the person’s name at the top.
