EDIT: I have three of these and loved them…until one of them started collapsing on one side. As the pic shows, 1 of them is collapsed on one side and now, it wont snap closed, so one side of it pops open and stays open. Very disappointed and now I have concerns about the other two doing the same thing.
Edit #2 – I contacted the seller about this issue and he quickly apologized and immediately offered to send me a new one at no charge. Excellent customer service. I would much rather make purchases from someone who backs their product and will offer a replacement without a ton of hassle than have to fight with someone to make it right. There are sometimes problems with an item that are not normal and unexpected. But with this kind of customer service, I will definitely buy from them again! Thank you seller!
BTW, I paid full price for this item. No freebie or discount in order to get a 5-star review.
Additional information: The specs for this lantern say that it will provide light (on low) for 10 hours on a single charge. I tried this and it still had usable light after 11.5 hours, although not as bright. I also tested its ability to charge a nearly-discharged iPhone 6, with the iPhone turned on. It brought the iPhone from 6% to 50% before the iPhone’s charge level started decreasing again, so in rough terms, it holds about half of an iPhone 6 charge.

I see 3 of these lighting my entire campsite, including inside my hammock. Nice to have a light INSIDE the hammock that you don’t have to worry about. Hangs nicely right off my mosquito net/rainfly rope. So that’s 1 opened up in the hammock, 1 closed (when closed it has a focused flashlight beam) over my stove for cooking light, and 1 more opened to light the balance of my sight. Sweet. And still no damn batteries.
As far as the charger aspect of this light, it works adequately. For an emergency charge to use your phone, or I use it to charge my mp3 player, it works fine. Just don’t expect to power up multiple devices with it.
