I was surprised with the quality, strength and craftsmenship that went into this cover. It had that heavier feel right from the box and when I put it on the firepit, it actually stayed in place and I could tug on it to position it and secure it and I didn’t have to worry about the corners or end ripping out. It is made with strong use intended. I had a bit of a problem determining how all the fastening straps hooked up but I eventually got there. The drawstrings on the bottom of the cover are excellent and provide added security as to not blow off or someone coming along and doing a “quick-grab” to walk off with it, but that will not happen. Since our first cover (not from CoverMates) shredded like a paper bag after a couple of years, I will be anxious to see the life of this cover – I expect much longer.

A very nice cover for the firepit on my deck. Only wish is that is was a bit longer since when the bottom cord is tightened it causes it to be shorter than than the original length.

I bought this to replace the ultra-cheapo cover that came with my gas fire table. This one lacks about a foot of reaching the ground, but that’s ok since I got it to protect the top. It has held up through rain and snow, with no signs of moisture buildup underneath.

I’ve only had the cover a week so I can’t say how long it will hold up under the changing seasons. But I can say that it is of a somewhat sturdy material, a little rubbery feel rather than canvas-like. I like that it has elastic at the bottom so it hugs the firepit instead of just hanging, and it has vents which helps prevent the moisture collecting under the cover. It also fit perfectly. So far, so good.

I needed a new cover for my 30×30 fire pit since the one it came with ripped to shreds. I’ve had this cover for a few months now and it survived a horrible winter. I’m happy with it!

Our fire pit cover was ripped to shreds by a dog and so I bought this to replace it. It fits well and the quality is very good. Much better than the original that came with the fire pit. I especially like that it has elastic around the bottom to help it stay in place during i climate weather.

Nice fit. Good customer service. The cover looks great and the water just beads up on it keep the firepit dry. Let’s see how it holds up to a summer of baking in the sun with the summer thunderstorms and a whole winter. I’ll check in again next year to share how the cover fared.

Very pleased with the quality and durability of this product. I’ve used it for several months now and it is holding up well, even in the bitter cold temps we’ve had in December.
