Cupcake pans aren’t uniform/standard and these trays only fit small cupcakes. The pans that work best are from bed bath and beyond. The cup cake holders can be removed but it is hard to find a standard sheet cake size that will fit into carrier. It still works well for travel and for keeping cupcakes fresh. In the picture some cup cakes were baked in smaller pans and some larger so they all couldn’t be placed next to each other. Snapping mechanism is good.

The inserts are slightly warped so I hope they flatten out with some use. It is very nice that you can detach the bottom one and use it to carry just 12 cupcakes as needed. I’m going to look for an insert that will fit this carrier for mini cupcakes.
