The grill is light weight, and unfortunately has yet to generate more than a 450 degree temperature with the top closed (the temp gauge goes up to 800 degrees). The BTU’s per square inch comes out to about 83, 100 BTUs/Sq In is sort of the standard.
Description says surface will hold 24 hamburgers, they’d have to be on the small side to fit in my opinion.
Also the dimensions given are the over all dimensions and include the side shelves that is not the grilling size.

I do have one problem though – actually 3 problems. Even though the box arrived in great condition and the unit was very well packed – the front right corner of the right side shelf is mangled! -yet the box it was in, inside the box was in perfect shape! – see photos 1 and 2. Also there is a “ding” in the burner cover, and a “ding” right in the center of the cover. Not happy about purchasing a damage product. I am going to try to contact Amazon or the seller regarding the damage.
So now I am stuck with a terrible grill that can’t cook red meat. I am going to give it to the neighborhood bar that will use it to cook cheap hamburgers and hot dogs, and I will order a better grill that can actually cook meat. This purchase is a total loss for me.
One more thing: the burners do not light from one to the other — you have to use the lighter for each burner. Not a big deal, but I’ve never seen such a thing on previous gas grills. All I can figure is that this is a very low price grill, and the manufacturer saves money by (1) making a small cover that doesn’t cover the entire top, and (2) making small burners that do not give off much heat, and (3) not connecting the burners.
I should have known better since this grill is such a low price. It’s not always true that you get what you pay for, but this waste of money for me. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.
