This is one of the handiest items I have ever purchased. I can check my house insulation, door leaks see animals up to 70 yards in total darkness, see heat from my automobile after a road trip, see hot and cold water leaks, find shorted transistors, capacitors, resisters and so much more with this item. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is not listed correctly. This is not a Thermal Camera it is a Thermal Imager there is no built in camera. Also there is not a case included with the Imager, but if you purchase a Amazon Basis small GoPro case mark and cut out the inside foam to fit the imager you can have a good carrying case for the charger and Imager for less than $20.00.

Great low cost FLIR which we use to find over heating issues on our PCBAs.

The FLIR TG165 Spot Thermal Camera is an outstanding product for identifying and recording hot spots. The most impressive feature is being able to down load and present the findings in meetings with clients.
