I’m a single mom and hung two inside by myself. I did have to pick up some rope, a ceiling hook, and a swivel latch from local hardware store, no more than $10.

Just got it today so no comment on durability, but oh so comfy! My parents had something similar but that you couldn’t streatch your legs out in…. so glad I got this instead! I can streatch out completely and I’m 5’8 190. Had 2 of my littles in with me too. Rope is soft.

Update: after spending more time in the chair and then in my parents chair I had to dock 2 stars. The head position on this is far less comfortable. It kind of forces your neck forward and chin down, like maybe the top lines are to tight. Any ways still comfy for short periods sitting up, but not so much for just laying back and definitely not napping

It’s a nice looking hammock chair and super comfy to curl up in, but it came out of the package reeking of mildew. Really hoping the smell will fade over time.

Edit 12/27/17: I’m happy to say the smell did fade after a few weeks. Whenever we hang out on the porch this is everyone’s favorite place to sit. It’s attractive, comfortable to curl up or stretch out, and has held up well after ~6 months. Must-have inclusion for any covered porch!

Absolutely love my hammock! I’m 108 pounds and it holds me just fine. I love how I can stretch out my legs. People have said that the ropes tend to slide in on the bar, but I have not had that problem. There is enough room to do my home work.

Love this chair! It’s so comfortable. I can sit in it crossed-legged and write on my laptop or read very comfortably. I can also sit in it with my legs stretched out all the way in front of me and lean back. It’s in my home office and my husband always wants to sit in it when he comes into my office to talk to me but I’m always already in it. I’m fighting the urge to order about six more and put them all over the house – just kidding but I’m really happy with this chair. I’m not sure how long the string?cloth? whatever will last but it was pretty inexpensive. If I’d paid about $20 more and still got what I got, I’d still be happy with it.

Great chair! A little weird to get into for the first few times but easy once you get the hang of it. Seems to be very sturdy and strong (as long as you don’t overboard it). I am 160 lbs and it holds me with no problems. The netting is awesome because you can sit many different ways- upright, cross-legged, legs out in front of you, etc. My only complaint is that it smells kind of like old burlap when you first open it, but it doesn’t reek of it and I’m sure a little febreeze or time will get rid of it.
In all, I would definitely recommend this chair! Great for relaxing and reading!

Absolutely love this swing. Actually bought it twice. The first one lasted about 8 months and got a tear, but I am pretty sure that is because my children used it as a twisting swing. They were pretty rough on it. It is super comfortable and conforms to you which is wonderful. This is my zen place in my backyard. I would recommend it for leisure chair – not for a twisting your brother in circles chair.

I love my new hammock swing! No better place to relax and watch the leaves fall around me. This is very sturdy, easy to hang up, and so comfortable. The netting stretches out so that I can put my feet up and extend them out or sit in it like a regular chair. I’m very happy with this hammock, and might purchase a second one in the spring.
