Cannot dim clock light brightness.
Cannot disable audio from wake up. (You must listen to one of their 7 choices, all sound terrible because they are using the crappiest speaker possible. Sounds very tinny.)
Yes, you can adjust the brightness of the light but cannot adjust brightness of colored lights. (Red/Blue/etc lights use max brightness)
Can barely stand up. It is not stable at all.
Has to be plugged in or use batteries. (Would prefer to have it be chargeable and wireless.) (Adding a lithium battery would up the price though.)
Not worth it at all.
I didn’t want to buy the “Filips” one because it seemed overpriced for an alarm clock.
So I got this one thinking that as long as a light came on gradually in the morning then it would serve it’s purpose of waking me up naturally.
How naive of me.
Yes, they used the cheapest materials possible and it is cheap but it really should not have been made in the first place.
Originally I upped from 1 to 2 stars because they reached out and tried to help which I appreciated.
I have now lowered it back to 1 because they are now pestering me over 2 months after the purchase.
This seems to be a recurring issue with amazon sellers of bribing the low reviews with free products in exchange for fake ratings.
(The numbers of ratings/number of stars weighs heavily on amazon’s ranking algorithm)
Long story short we sought this out, figured out the best place to put this (husband’s night stand on his side of the bed, because he’s a heavy sleeper and I’m a light one) and the very first night we used it it was just incredible. We only use the light function, not the sounds, but it’s great because it gradually lifts you out of sleep versus jarring you out of sleep like an alarm clock does. It starts out slowly and very dim 30 minutes before your set wake up time, and gradually brightens. By the time it was at it’s brightest and our phone alarms went off, we were both already laying there in bed awake looking at one another grinning. It felt like a NATURAL wakeup, which neither of us have had for over 2 years.
We use it every day and it has helped so much. Instead of hitting snooze on the cell phone alarm 4-5+ times we are getting up pretty awake within 10 minutes of our first cell phone alarm, and thus have the time to prepare a healthy breakfast and get ourselves squared away before shift. I was a zombie before, this technology truly is a godsend for those of us stuck on graveyards.
If you’re in our situation and wondering if the one light on one side of the bed will be enough to wake up two people, you should be good, just either put it on the side of the person who sleeps heaviest or put it at the foot of the bed facing you. It’s so nice to feel like we get up in the “morning” again. Thank you to this company for making an affordable wakeup light.
