Solid processor for the price, the included cooler works as expected, and the low power consumption is a big plus.

For people that don’t know, it includes a cooling fan with pre applied thermal paste. I didn’t know this and had already bought a fan. Since my i7 chip didn’t bring a fan thought this one wouldn’t either.

Note: UPS ended up delivering my package as opposed to USPS but it’s okay I still got it.
Another Note: To use this on any motherboard that accepts Skylake processors requires you to update the BIOS. I did that for my H110M Gaming motherboard from MSI and it works just fine.
Another Note: When you switch from Skylake to Kaby Lake using Windows 10, it will work, but your resolution will be reduced to UXGA or 1024 x 768. You can switch it back with Display settings. Make sure your version of Windows 10 is activated before using the new processor. If you have Windows 7, it won’t work due to Kaby Lake processors not allowing updates.

I had no idea Celerons had improved so much.
I’m used to the old school Celerons that couldn’t do anything.
I put this in my mining rig and it run just fine.
I haven’t done any gaming but for day to day use it seems just fine.
