Built my first comp a few weeks ago on a budget, was a little skeptical on getting an i3 over i5 (i7 was definitely not in the budget). But i was impressed by it’s out of the box specs and has good reviews so i saved the $100 and put it towards better graphics card and more RAM. I am impressed so far, does everything i’ve asked out of it just fine. Only complaint is it will get a little bogged down (and i do mean only a little) when you have a ton of screens open and doing a lot of stuff at the same time (Steam, LoL, CSGO, RL, Google, Settings), but that was only after i first turned it on and was trying to update/dl everything and play games all at the same time. But its only a dual core and i knew that going in, and its not typical that i run a ton of stuff at the same time. If you can afford the i5-7600k i would tell you to go for it, but if you are on a budget this is a great CPU.

I absolutely love this processor for it’s price range. I recently custom built two PC’s each with a different task in mind. I used this processor on both and both run flawlessly. One is a Minecraft machine which is very CPU intensive and this i3 matches the performance of my i5 in my laptop. The other machine is built for more graphic gaming and the cpu rarely ramps up to full load under heavy gaming. This is due to the fact that I used a budget gtx 1050 which became my bottleneck but the i3 did have plenty of room to grow.

Built my sister a computer, this is a great budget CPU paired with a 1050Ti or 1060 3GB Varient Gaming in high to medium setting at 1080p is a breeze.

Better single thread performance than an i5, and a great value

I play PUBG and Overwatch and this processor has given me no problems

Got this when i built my first pc with a 1060 6gb. I’ve played many games like pubg, overwatch, gta v, etc all on high settings no problem!

great budget CPU but more expensive yet has the same performace as the G4560. not taking off more than one star as this is the G4560’s fault for being so good.
(took off one star to say that it is not well priced WHEN compare to the G4560)
