The only problem I’ve had so far is that the quick connectors from the CO2 regulator to the keg need a good solid couple turns with a wrench, or else they will leak. The plastic clamps that come with this kit are predictably cheap and while they work “OK”, they’re not the greatest. Some metal adjustable hose clamps from Home Depot are an easy and worthwhile upgrade.
I have 5 gallons of Peach Wheat in my newly-converted keezer now hooked up to CO2 and waiting to be sampled! For those of us who are more interested in getting into kegging than hunting around Craigslist for parts, this kit is the perfect answer.

⬠Who needs this: Any 5 gallon brewer that has room for a fridge
⬠The bottom line: Great kit. If you are a brewer and have room stop bottling now! This is very easy to put together. Comes with everything you need except the CO2 (which you need to do local anyhow), a drill for the hole in the fridge, and more tap line tube. The tap handle is replaceable for a upgrade FYI.

a) My used kegs were in good shape. They were pressurized so I didn’t replace the seals when I kegged my first batch. Extra seals were sent.
b) The bottle is brand new. When I went to go fill it, the fill place wanted to do an exchange. It was hard for me to turn over a brand new bottle, so I went to another place and got it filled.
c) The instructions were a bit sketchy. I didn’t put the right seal in the regulator fitting that fits on the bottle. Lost about 1/3 of my CO2 because of a slow leak. Use the nylon washer for that fitting.
d) Even though I ordered the through the door taps, I haven’t had the time to install them. I drilled out a piece of wood and attached the taps to it. I have that piece of wood hanging inside the fridge. I sort of wish I ordered the picnic tap version, it would have been easier in my instance. You could order the picnic taps separate and use them until you are ready to install the full through the door system.
e) You will want and need a drip tray for these taps. I have one picnic tap I use for a commercial pony keg and it hangs in the fridge in a way so it doesn’t drip. Yet another reason why the picnic tap might make more sense.
f) I’m a certified diver (since 1983) and know pressures, regulators, valves, etc. If you don’t know these things, you will want to get familiar via some web research before you hookup all your stuff.
I’m happy with my purchase.
