I can’t speak to the longevity yet, but I have two installed as a directional replacement for a 175w sodium floodlight. Night time picture included. I’d like to comment regarding the build quality, the brightness, and the accuracy of the description and photos.

As shown in the photos, the fixtures come in a full color printed box, with thick padding to protect the glass side, as opposed to the standard super thin plain Chinese cardboard with bubble wrap that’s 90% popped already, with a decent multi-language data-sheet/instructions. I’m hoping this level of product presentation represents the level of quality they put into the product, not just the box and packaging.

As shown, you only get about 10 inches of cord, with pre-stripped ends, that runs off anything from 100-240v AC. Yes, you need to play the role of an electrician to install these, and you will need quite a bit more ‘stuff’ to do it correctly to code (entirely depending on your application), such as a juction box, some sort of connectors, perhaps even a water tight nut going through a hole in your junction box, and a faceplate for said junction box. All lights of this type will require the same. I would really like to have had more wire to work with.

The pictures are accurate, but they make the unit look a bit cheesey. I was pleasantly surprised that they look and feel to be of better quality than the pictures can convey.

Now for what you’ve been waiting for: BRIGHTNESS. My P4 Watt-Meter says it uses 9watts. Since this is a directional bulb, we have to compare it to large, funnel shaped incandescent flood/spot bulb. And in that regard, I’d have to rate it more equivalent to a 40-50w incandescent spot/flood. But if comparing it to a simple bulb like you’d use in your table lamp, since those bulbs put out light all around in a 360 sphere, these LEDs do seem more equivalent to a 60w or brighter incandescent standard bulb.

My phone’s camera seems to have cheated/brightened just a bit, but the included photo is fairly accurate. The photo is of my upper driveway/back of house, using TWO of these LED floods at slightly different angles, one aimed at the near corner of the house and one aimed more toward the back corner/down the driveway.

I’ve taken off one star for the short cord, and for not yet being able to speak to the longevity.

I’m having a ball with these for festive outdoor lighting. The price is right and they give a pleasant amount of light for their size. Plugs are included too.

I love these Lights I added 5 To my Backyard. I have a big backyard. It does a great job at lighting it up at night.The wires are thin, so they will work with proper Electrical Wires, just make sure you use a good clamp or Connector.

This light, as others mentioned, illuminates about 25 feet or so. If you aim the light in a way that you might look at it, it’s very intense. We changed the position to not shine directly in our eyes and it sill lights up nicely. It does resemble the light of the moon, therefore, it’s not a light that you get tired of or becomes annoying. I also don’t feel as if I’m irritating the neighbors with it. Very pleasant.

Decent spot light, looks to be in solid weatherproof casing. The receiver for the controller is not RF, it’s Line of Sight, so you have to be right in front of the light to change the modes/color/brightness. The cord is good quality, and should withstand some rough weather.

I dinged 1 star for the following reasons:
1) The lights arent as bright as I was hoping. 10W LED should be able to put out more lumens IMHO.
2) Non-basic colors (everything aside from RGB and White) arent entirely accurate. I would classify Orange as Orange-ish, yellow as Yellow/green-ish, and purple as blue-ish. I dont expect 100% accurate colors, but the colors are off just a tad bit. If color accuracy isnt a concern, then this is a non issue.

Overall this light serves the purpose it was purchased for. I will likely get a couple more to perfect the light effect Im chasing.

Inbiught this item for Halloween to add some effect to our front door for the trick or treaters. Unfortunately the “Strobe mode” we couldn’t get to work. Instead of strobe it would just rotate different colors at snail speed. The strobe effect was primarily the only reason I purchased this item. This light though is nice and light and compact so it’s easy to hide and store when not in use. The colors are also nice and bright. But the modes need some work. If your looking for a strobe effect look at another option.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. 10 watts doesn’t seem like much, but it works well and fills the room. Fortunately I read the comments and went with the 10-watt, rather than the 50-watt, which would be a bit too overwhelming. I used this on this last Halloween to light the interior and exterior of my house. I wanted to highlight the surfaces and room, rather than light them up. Worked well, not too bright and not too dim. The primary usage is to create ambiance in my TV room, which they do well. You can go with the higher wattage, but using a pair to spread out the light, rather than a single light, creates a better feel. Lastly, I ran these inside and outside for 3 hours on a flash-mode and they remained cool to the touch. I don’t know how much this will heat up at 100% brightness on a single or any given color. I would recommend. Great value with many different applications.

For 10 watts, they are extremely bright. More of a spot light rather than a flood light.
I have 4 of these wired to the light circuit on my garage door opener, lights up the whole single car garage.
The back side is a heatsink that does get warm. I have them installed in the rafters, so the spot beam spreads out.
