The telescoping drill clamp fits drills and impact drivers large and small-including newer lithium-ion models. The recent redesign allows the tool to rotate 360-degrees and lock into position. The adjustment wrench now stores with the tool, preventing loss. The hex shank drive shaft attaches directly into the chuck of any drill or impact driver. The TSHD navigates tight patterns and square cuts while cutting a variety of building materials. The TSHD cuts straight and to the left all while making fast cuts in material thickness up to 18-gauge galvanized steel. Cutting applications include ferrous and non-ferrous sheet metals, metal roofing/building panels, vinyl, steel mesh, ductwork, and even the thick metal of furnace jackets, equipment enclosures or automotive body panels. Replacement blade TSHDRB.

Fits on my Ridgid cordless impact driver (drill too).
Cuts metal fairly well, but it is a challenge getting it through the ridges. But is very much better than cutting with hand shears.
Drill heats up, a lot, a lot. It becomes too hot to touch after one cut. Worried about my drill burning up.
One long cut uses up half of the battery. A fully charged 18 volt battery will be able to perform 2 cuts lengthwise.
I tried to put the shear on my corded drill and it would not fit. My drill is very old and is too wide for the shear.
Overall, the tool works, but I should have bought a nibbler or electric shears. It never pays to cheap out.

This tool works better than advertised. It can indeed cut through several layers of standard metal roofing (28-29 gauge) thus saving extra time if you are cutting several pieces at the same angle or length. It fits the 18v DeWalt screw guns like it’s been specially designed for it, but is also very versatile allowing it to fit different sizes and shapes of drills.
After years of hard use these things are still going strong. The jaws are a tad looser than they used to be and could use a little adjustment, but are still functioning well.
I wish I could meet the guy who invented this amazingly simple piece of ingenuity. Five and a half stars!!!!
