We now have this very cute turtle thermometer happily floating around in our pool. It is keep int track of the temp for us so we will know if we dare go for a swim or if it needs more time in the sun. I am looking forward to keeping this little turtle floating for many pool seasons. He is cute and unobtrusive.

We use “Timmie the Temperature Taking Turtle” in the lake, and he has performed admirably! I have been impressed that he has stayed put on our ladder, even in rough weather; he valiantly reports the temperature of the lake water despite getting covered in lake grime. He’s practically part of the family! My takeaways? The product was delivered exactly as described and is very durable. I think it was a good buy!

The product is working great and stays afloat the way it should. I just wish the thermometer reading was bigger. It is very small and hard to read. Overall I gave the product 3 stars because I think it looks cute in the pool, it floats correctly, and the temp readings have been good.

It takes the temperature. I’m not sure why some people complain of it sinking. I’ve had it a few months, and it’s floating just fine. Obviously, it isn’t a perfect reading of pool temperature, given that sometimes the surface can be warmer than deeper parts of the pool. But it’s hard to see how any floating thermometer could avoid this, unless comically long.

Just like others said in their reviews, the thermometer is basically not attached when you get it, so plan to superglue it – once you do that though, it’s perfect – our turtle enjoys long days in the pool and when called upon, accurately reports the same temperature that our pool heater says. He has a dental problem (just a single buck tooth), but he’s handsome in his own way.

This thermometer is great! it reads a perfect temperature and we have a friendly companion in our spa. We wanted to get another thermometer because we weren’t sure our spa was reading the correct temperature, more or less to double check the digital readout. It’s easy to read and our little turtle friend hangs with us as we soak. Fun and functional!

Very accurate! Probably the most accurate we’ve owned. We like the design besides the beady eyes. The Turtle fell off after about a week. Gluing it back is simple but shouldn’t have to do this with something so new. Still the best floating thermometer I’ve ever used!
