Like many, I was a little hesitant to purchase patio furniture online. Glad I did! I called customer service to inquire about upgrading to 8 swivel chairs instead of 6, and they were helpful and offered me some options, and within an hour emailed me a customized link to the set as we discussed. Item was received about 8 days later, and exceptionally well-packaged. Everything was bubble-wrapped or wound with foam-backed paper, and taped down so there was no nicking or scratching. All parts and hardware were included. The directions were pictographs, which was a little awkward at first but pretty self-explanatory, and I believe hubby got out his own tools instead of the small wrenches included, but he said the hardest part of assembly was unpacking the parts from the protective wrapping (I took over that job after the first two, and it was 10 minutes per chair to unwrap – fine with me, I’d rather have it arrive intact). Cushions are what you’d expect for a Sunbrella product (even seems, velcro tabs, seemingly sturdy zipper), with a somewhat brown cast to the “scarlet”. Seems very sturdy. We are not big people and the chairs feel like club chairs to us because the seating area is so spacious. I’m not worried about some of my larger extended family members using these. I was a little concerned about fitting 8 chairs around the table, but I saw that other sets came with the same size table and 8 chairs, so we went for it. They do all comfortably fit, and getting in and out is fairly easy since the chars swivel. Might be a little less fluid ingress/egress if one had 8 non-swivel chairs around the table. Frankly, I don’t see the difference either structurally or aesthetically between this set and the ones sold at the local patio-specialty shops for twice the price.

I was a little hesitant to buy a patio set online but I went through with it and I am glad I did. The merchandise was so well wrapped there was no damage what so ever. You can tell whoever wrapped it knew what they were doing. The patio set is “PHENOMENAL”. Heavy duty to say the least and putting a couple of the chairs together was simple. The table itself could use 2 people to put together but I did it myself. If you are looking for a beautiful patio set and don’t want to spend 4 or 5 thousand this is the set for you, You won’t be disappointed!

This patio dining set is an excellent value. The quality is the same as sets costing 2-3 times as much. The table is large enough to easily accommodate all of the chairs and they tuck in nicely as well. Pay attention to the ends of the four small rectangular pieces that make up the reinforcement “basket” below the table top. The instructions just show to assemble the four pieces to the legs, but they go together a specific way in order for the rectangle to have square corners. Delivery was prompt and painless. We looked at various stores & websites for weeks and this set was the clear winner.

We love this set, it is sturdy and comfortable and came very well packed as well as quick shipping. Also ordered another pair of the chairs for additional guests.

I’m very pleased with the chairs purchased and the onetime/as scheduled delivery. The only reason I did not give a five star rating is that the final step attaching the swivel bracket to the seat was extremely difficult. While it was not, as I originally thought, mis-aligned, it was not easy to make that alignment without not necessarily obvious swiveling/tilting the bracket to align with the seat.
