After trying a couple of the cheapy grip cases floating around amazon and getting fed up with them, I decided “what the heck, let’s finally try one of the more expensive options”. Now, I was initially very skeptical of this product because it has only 3 reviews that are all 5 stars, and if you’ve been around online shopping for a while, you’ll know that sometimes companies like to fabricate glowing reviews to entice people into buying their less than stellar product. So, I took a risk buying this not so popular looking grip case. And I do not regret it.
Skull & Co. did an absolutely fabulous job designing this amazing looking switch lite accessory. Each of the 3 included swappable grips feel pretty well made and sturdy and are made of a hard plastic. While the clear case itself is made of that rubbery feeling tpu material, the parts that the grips slide onto are made of a similar hard plastic comparable to the swappable grips. Each of the 3 pairs of included grips are very stylish, but in terms of comfort, the trigger grips were the most comfortable to me. The switch pro look alike grips were a close second in egronomics, but were ultimately beat out by the trigger grips because the trigger grips gave my complacent middle fingers places to rest.
Now some possible cons about the product:
The thicker grips gained my favor, however, the thin sleek grips didn’t impress me at all because they add a rectangular bulge that didn’t conform to my hands well. But you may like the thin grips if sleekness and portability is a must, or if you just have small hands. Another con is that the tpu case doesn’t have a cutout for your micro SD cards, but thankfully still has a cutout for the game card slot. And one last thing that people didn’t like was how thick the tpu case was, it adds about 2-3 millimeters of bulk all around your switch lite. The thickness didn’t bother me at all, but I remember one of the other reviewers couldn’t fit it in their other switch lite carrying case.
Now that leads me to the carrying carrying case portion of my review. It’s perfectly fine, it feels sturdy enough with a canvas finish and a semi-hard shell. You cannot fit all 3 pairs of swappable grips in it, you can only fit 2 in it: the slim ones, and one of the thick pairs that has to be attached to the switch, and there’s not enough room for your switch charging brick either. Other than that, the case can carry 8 switch cartridges and maybe a usb-c cable with a small candy bar-sized power bank if you don’t need to pack the slim grips.
All in all, this is a damn good product, and well worth the $40 that I paid for it.
I have done a lot of research and ordered a few cases for the lite. Trust me this is THE one. Go ahead and order this one and you wonât need anything else. Comes with three grips, a carrying case, and yes it fits the charger that comes with it! This thing is honestly awesome and perfect. All the other ones I got I returned.

This is hands down the best case you can buy. Chose this grip over the satisfye due to the fact that it is a protective case as well as a grip. It’s a thick soft TPU material and would definitely cushion a fall. The trigger and bumpers have a frosted texture which feels nice and is a great detail. For me the “trigger” style grips were the most comfortable and probably won’t use the others. The travel case is nice and rigid and while lacking in storage it has good function. Slots for 8 games Velcro strap to secure your console and the flap for your storage compartment is also a kick stand. Pretty cool!
With that said the only “negative” thing about the grip case is on several occasions hitting the power button to put the switch in standby also triggered the volume down button. A little adjustment helped and I started paying attention, let’s say 6/10 times it was me brushing against the volume button. So not a big deal I just am a little more aware. And lastly is more of a suggestion, but I like to see the “low pro” grips disappear and replaced with joycon covers. I can see people perferring one handle grip over the other, but i see most people like me tossing the low pros in the junk drawer. Joy con covers are the only thing missing that I would want as an acssessory that would complete this kit.

Extremely unhappy with these. I’ve previously ordered the protective case for the original switch by this company and it worked great but this one is awful in comparison. I’ve never had issues with the one before this, but putting the case on and then trying to install the different grips is a nightmare. I feel like my switch it going to get damaged with the amount of force it takes to slide in the grips. Ridiculous.
I absolutely LOVE this case and the hand grips. This is worth every penny. Even if you’re not in the market for hand grips (just as I wasn’t), trust me, BUY THIS ANYWAY. My gaming experience is so much more fun and immersive now. The snap-on case is sturdy and responsive, and the external case is lovely, two. I can’t recommend this enough!
I got the satisfye grip which I started off enjoying but later realized that the bar on the back dug into my fingers and I also noticed that it was scratching my switch! I switched (haha) to the skull and co grip and couldn’t be happier, each of the grip styles feel amazing!
love this product.very well made.fit switch lite perfectly.love that you have 3 grisp you can choose from.if you don’t plan on switching grips when you travel then you can put the charger on the bottom of the case which is what I’m doing.love how the color matches the switch.for the price i say its worth it coz the product doesn’t disappoint.i would rather buy something a little more expensive than buy something cheap that will not last long.would definitely recommend this product.
I was gonna write a long review on how much I loved this case but I am going to just cut it short and encourage you to buy this case. It was very ergonomically made. I bought one for my big switch a week later.
