Failed after a few months. I liked this when it worked. It was bright and responsive. It replaced another solar light that was in its place for years. This one failed in 3 months! Not happy about that. Should have bought it at Costco for less money and a great return policy.

Update 2/15/18: I emailed customer service and a few days later a brand new light arrived at my house. Great customer service. Perhaps I got a bad one. I will try the new one but I can say excellent customer service. Thank you!

At first I was going to give it one star for it was obviously defective and just couldn’t believe that it was that bad. We have a small farm and are literally changing all our outdoor lighting to solar and LED styled fixtures. With that being said, I decided to email Costech to see how they would handle my complaint and lo and behold, was I surprised! Customer service gets 6 stars!!! The gentleman didn’t even want it returned, but instead, told me to throw it away and that I was getting a new one ASAP. Long and short, put new one up, made the settings according to the way we like our lamps to work….not only did it work, but it is definitely the brightest lamp we have anywhere on the property. So, there you have it….GREAT lamp and even better Customer Service. Definitely getting a couple more!

PROS:
1. Had it for a week, so far so good, functioning as it should.
2. Nice and bright for a solar powered unit.

CONS:
1. Do not like how the three seperate lights are not as freely adjustable. The center light is pretty must stationary.
2. Mounting braket needs some design enhancments for the solar panel.

I had to get another solar light for the front of my house. I didn’t see the original light I had ordered, so I got this one. I am glad I did. This light lights up my whole side and front yard. I like the fact that I can adjust the sensor for sensitivity. It is very bright white light as well. I am slowly but surely putting these type of solar lights around my house front side and back. I thought this was a great deal but I guess looks can be deceiving. It work perfectly fine the first night. The second day was a sunny, cloud free day. I noticed that the light was dimmer then the night before. So I thought to myself. Maybe it just needs a full day of fun to give it the same charge. The third day was also a sunny day with a few clouds. That night, it was so dim. That the only thing the light shines on was the light fixture itself. I forgot to mention. The whole panel in dusted off on the fourth day through the seventh day to see if there would be any difference. Not much of a difference. I shouldnât need to dust it off every day.

Worked with supplier as the first unit we bought was faulty. Supplier was great to work with and really stood behind their product since I am not sure if the mistake I was making was mine by doing something wrong with the adjustment knobs or if it was truly a defective product. When we receive it I let this light on all the time about 2-3 hours battery fully die and recharge under sun but for the security light 3 hours for night time is pretty long for normal use

Installed this solar lights on the side gate, then installed the solar panel about 2 feet above the lights, When finished was about 5;00PM wait until 8:20PM approach the sensor path, see the light was lite for a minutes, Next day morning adjusted the solar panel and sensor then go out. at night when I got home around 9:00PM the brightness from the lights was surprised me adjusted some light directions and work well.
