Even though I really wanted blue umbrellas, I couldn’t resist the fact that these have lights. I bought two in ecru. They’re so pretty at night; it’s like sitting under the stars!

They were easy to put together. I did it without any help.

You don’t need to buy a separate base that costs $50 to $75. I was able to spend only $17 for patio tiles from Home Depot that measure 16″ x 16″ 1 9/16″. That was the biggest size they had. The stand can hold an 18″ tile.

Some people have said that the tile needs to be 1″ thick, but that’s not true. My tiles are just over 1.5″ and there’s still a little room left to accommodate a slightly thicker tile. The tiles each weigh 25 lb each, so using four of them would total 100 lb.

The diagram included with the umbrella shows tiles that weight 30 kg apiece. Using four of them would be around 264 lb. I don’t know if that’s really necessary. Hopefully 100 lb will be enough.

I’d also like to mention that the seller has very good customer service. One of my umbrellas was missing a bolt and washer which had fallen out of the box, and they sent replacement parts to me very quickly. I would definitely do business with them again.

A bit disappointed in this umbrella. First off their are pieces of the stand already rusting and i have not made it a full 6 months outside yet. The clamp to hold the umbrella in place does not secure the greatest and i have had the umbrella fall while having it setup at an angle. Third the LED lights are nice but have developed an extremely annoying flicker, and I’m not talking about occasionally…. it will go from bright to dull to medium to dell to bright the entire time they are turned on.

Other than that it is just an umbrella, it blocks out the sun and looks pretty nice. Wind does creat a lot of movement in the umbrella though so I’m forced not to really use it unless its a VERY calm day.

well built, and very nice looking. I would buy them again, and may buy more. Lacking in good user manual.

Good looking….good price. Need to use it some more to determine if it will hold up to the weather.

String that holds umbrella open (runs thru metal arm) broke. Tried to return for a fix or replacement and after spending time and money boxing it up and shipping the broken top half, two weeks later, Sunrise decides to just refund my purchase. Thanks for wasting my time and $25 for the UPS box I had to buy. When the umbrella was open for the couple of weeks when it was working, the quality is about what you’d expect for a $100 outdoor product, but what surprised us was that the base legs aren’t actually very strong and will bend, and the latch that is supposed to hold the extension arm out, doesn’t hold. The are slowly creeps down and you have to reset it every day or so. A fine purchase for a one-day event, but not if you expect it to last.

This is just what we were looking for and the solar lights underneath made it even better. I highly recommend this as an addition to your patio. Easy to bring up and take down.
