I bought two of these to hang from our garage ceiling. It comes with chains and a longer, metal string to hang the lights with. I initially used just the metal string to hang with, but my garage door ended up hitting the lights, and so I am only suspending the lights with just the chains now.

PROS
– Very bright daylight LED
– Lights the entire garage very wel
– Can be daisy-chained with up to 3 bars so you don’t have to find an outlet for each one of them
– Can independently turn on/off each light bar even while daisy-chained

CONS
– Lights are independently turned on/off even when daisy-chained. I would have preferred an option where if you turn off the one plugged in to the outlet, all the other ones turn off too

I am very, very happy with the purchase.

I put 8 of these in my garage that I’m setting up as a woodshop. Really easy to put up and my shop is bright as a sunny day. Just be sure they are mounted close enough together to be able to daisy-chain them. I have all 8 on one, 15 amp circuit. I installed an outlet in the ceiling and wired it to an existing wall switch so I didn’t have to run an extension cord down the wall and/or turn them on using the chain-switch. I can turn them all on at once or keep some of them turned off when I don’t need all the light for doing woodworking. I screwed them directly into ceiling joists/trusses and if I wasn’t too heavy handed with the impact driver, the metal casing didn’t distort noticeably. Didn’t use any of the cables or chains that came with the fixtures. I will have to add a bit of string to the chain-switches since they’re too short to reach from the ground when mounted directly to a 9′ ceiling.

Very bright and instantly on Product is light weight making it easy to work with. Like the Daisy chain option.
Installed one, lite up the whole garage, nice, bright and white. Very easy on the eyes.
Opened the second box and the cover was bent. No noticable damage to any of the boxes. Looks like someone leaned on it. I have my suspicions it was boxed at the factory like that. I gave it a 4 star rating because of it.
Plugged it in and it works so I am going to install it. Bent it back somewhat straight.
The only other option is to remove the other one I have just installed already to ship both back seeing as they were purchased as a set.
I may still purchase another set, but I am not excepting another bent one.

Exactly what I wanted! I had purchased LCD bulbs to go into an existing Fluorescent fixture, and it didn’t work. The bulbs were dimmer than the old fluorescent bulbs.Then my old fluorescent fixture didn’t work at all.

I got the two pack. My garage is only a one car garage, so not very big, but I’m getting old and my “dark vision” just ain’t what it used to be.

But these lights make all the difference in the world. I was going to daisy chain them but didn’t need to do that. The hanging was easy peasy. I’m not sure what the little cable is for, or how it was supposed to be incorporated into the hanging of the lights, so I didn’t use it.

I have a switch that turns on the light socket, which is one of those that has two outlets incorporated into it. So I leave the Suncos in the “on” position and when I hit the switch, the power is turned on or off. So just flip the switch and my garage is now washed in light! I love it.

Had two light bulbs for the garage that did not light things up well. I have a job that requires responses at all hours and having decent lighting to put gear on or take equipment out of my SUV after returning home is a nice thing to have. I used the handy outlet plugs and put these up in short order. I thought the 5000k may be too bright but for a garage, it works really well. Two of these seem to provide plenty of light for my two car garage and even minor jobs in the garage. I also live in Northern Michigan and thought the cold temps may delay or hinder the lights during the winter months, I never noticed an issue. There is a very slight delay in light up but it is insignificant and maybe half a second after flipping the switch. If you regularly do work in a garage and need better lighting adding additional lights is so simple. Nice product that I don’t think you can go wrong with.

Got two of these for my garage where I do woodworking. They are VERY bright and go a great job of illuminating my entire work area. Am considering replacing my old florescent in the rest of the garage with these. They do connect together, but the on/off is still independent for each fixture. Also, the first one can be off, but the attached can still be turned on, so that’s a nice touch.

the fixture was lighter than a regular shop light fixture. it was very easy to install and the light was way brighter than my old shop lights also the price was very good for a led light. shipping of the fixtures was fast too. I plan on ordering more for another project.

Very light weight, extremely bright light from the units. Will order again.
