I was looking for an additional prep space for my kitchen remodel and found this Stainless Steel table on Amazon, which is rated for food safety. Although it is great on its own and very sturdy, I wanted to make it more useable for cutting on. The problem was finding a butcher block cutting board to fit it, as I didn’t just want a cutting board, but one that covered the entire top…..it was almost impossible to find…..the table top is 48 x 24….I finally found butcher block that measured 24 x 24 at […] and purchased two of them….they fit the top perfectly. Should you go to purchase the butcher block from them you can pay through your Amazon account, which really made it simple. Unlike most butcher block, these are 1 3/4 inches thick which make them heavy enough to not move while working on them, but to make sure that they didn’t move, I purchased Bekith Silicone Pot Holder,trivet Mat,jar Opener,spoon Rest and Garlic Peeler (Set of 4) Non Slip,flexible,durable,dishwasher Safe,heat Resistant Hot Pads on Amazon and placed 4 (one on each corner) between the butcher block and the stainless top. So happy with this purchase….hopefully Amazon will put this review through even though I included where to get the butcher block. I would think that they would since I was able to purchase the butcher block using my Amazon account. I believe that being able to find quality butcher block that covers the entire top makes this a great table and prep surface. I want to add that when my review was approved and posted, Amazon took out where to purchase the butcher block….so sorry about that…that is why you see the parenthesis where the store name was. I don’t get it…in my opinion, it gives more reason for someone to purchase the table from Amazon, knowing that the table can be enhanced with butcher block, not to count the fact that on that website, you are able to purchase it using your Amazon account. The website where the butcher block came from has no problem having Amazon listed on its site. That’s too bad….I’m sorry to readers of the review that might have been interested in that size butcher block. I looked at Amazon first for that size of butcher block and would have bought it from Amazon had they had that size.

I have had this table for 3 months and it is rusting!

I was getting ready to assemble the table, then I notice the four leg are missing. Also, the shipping was delay.

Well-made table. Perfect to place at the end of our new cabinets/countertop to hold our mid-size microwave (thus freeing up countertop space). The adjustable shelf is one of the main reasons I chose this product. We positioned the shelf up high so that we could place our dog bowls on the floor underneath. No banging heads. The raised shelf still has enough room to store our bread and microwave popcorn. Win, win, win!

I absolutely love my new prep table! Great height, sturdy, and clean storage for some of my pots underneath! I put it together by myself (it is heavy though for those who have trouble lifting more than 50 lbs it may be tricky). It was quick, easy, and painless. All tools needed were inside the box. Mine was slightly damaged with a small ding, but the seller gave me a discount for the small ding. So, it was a steal…and adds to the beauty for the look my kitchen has.

I plan to use it as an island and I am looking for some chairs to go with it.

Highly recommended, you will not regret this purchase at all!

This table doubles as a kitchen table & artist work space in our 750 sq ft home and is the same height as our counter top. We raised the bottom shelf as high as it go so our legs can fit easily when sitting. The under shelve is the perfect space for ‘clear the table for dinner’ area. It cleans up easily for art projects & dinner.

Same table they sell at Costco for about $30 more. I originally ordered from Costco, but after waiting 3 days and still no notice of shipping I canceled order and went to Amazon, glad I did. Easy to assemble, Allen wrench included to tighten hex screw. It works for what I need. Bottom shelf is not real heavy duty. I thought one of the hex screws was missing. Called Trinity and they were very nice and arranged to send out a hex screw. Next day I found hex screw in grass next to assembly area. You have to measure to get bottom shelf even, but not a big deal. Be aware if you order the wheels you need a set of adapters to install them. Called Trinity once again and they are sending out adapters. This adapter is mentioned in description of wheels.

This is a great chef table, perfect height. On the bottom shelf, we store a toaster oven, small microwave, food processor, and small crock pot. We store canisters for easy baking reach on top with plenty of room for bowls, chopping, and baking sheets. It’s very sturdy and functional.
