Vintage M1891 Bayonet With Wood Handle Terni Ribbed Steel Scabbard Italian ITEM DESCRIPTION This auction is for a vifntage M1855 sword bayonet with gold handles, unmarked. The bayonet measures 16 1/8″ long and 3 3/4″ wide. The blade meaures 11 3/4″ long. The blade is marked wit hthe Ternimaker’s mark, and the hilt has OS3381 stamped into it (possibly a serial number).See pictures for more details. CONDITION This bayonet is in good condition for its age. There are scratches and rusting from normal wear and aging. The rifle clamp button still pivots. The wooden handle has missing sections.
