Fan looks great and assembly of the fan itself was simple. Unfortunately the manufacturer was very disorganized when it came to the hardware provided. Miscount on the fasteners that attach the fan blades to the fan body(over count so it wasn’t that big of a hindrance) my main complaint and reason for the low review is that the screws provided to attach the mounting bracket to the fan box were absolutely inadequate. I could understand if they sent machines screws that didn’t fit properly to my particular fan box, however, they sent me lumber screws for the intent of mounting a fan to the tapped holes in the fan mounting box. This is an issue no matter how you look at it. I decided to purchase and install a brand new fan mounting box in the ceiling and use the screws provided with new box. Just be forwarned this is not something for the bigginer to do. I would spend the money on a better product and save the headache/ effort.

I have two of these; one in my small bedroom and one in my small office. Bought them for my recently remodeled house, as they are very cute. After about 10 months of ownership, lots of problems: very dim ( not enough light for a small bedroom or office), cannot use LEDs with it, the incandescent bulbs that came with it suck, and the replacements suck, the bulbs need replacement so quickly. Had a pro install them and have checked the wiring twice on both of them since install since they love to flicker and eat light bulbs( new house wiring and panel, so I know its the fans, as they are the only problem lights in the house), and they love to come loose from their mounts if you have them on high at any point. Needless to say, I cannot recommend them anymore. Ive had the no name $20 fans from Walmart last years, so these were super disappointing. Skip these and head to Home Depot for better quality.

Arrived in March, 2017. One of the two light fixtures started failing by December, 2017. The problem was overheating of the socket, resulting in a connection coming loose inside it, resulting in the one bulb going off after a few minutes. I left off the lamp shade and found the problem did not recur. But I want the lamp shade, for attractiveness. After further experimenting, I found that using two LED candelabra bulbs, with the lamp shade installed, eliminated the problem. The LED bulbs use only 7 watts each, giving a brightness of 500 lumens each and generating much less heat. The fixture is much cooler (to the touch). I bought the bulbs at Home Depot. I did find the fan quieted after a few hours of use, off and on over a few days.

Westinghouse’s warranty service is great. The staff were expert, helped me troubleshoot and minimized my inconvenience.

Looks great but it barely lights up 11×11 bedroom.

Amazon got me again, I was searching for inexpensive LED ceiling fans and of course only the first couple products match my description then I wind up buying something suggested that doesn’t meet my search criteria.

This is a great fan, well made and very quiet. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it does not have remote capabilities.

This fan is poorly made, has significant wobble and is impossible to balance. Get the Hunter Aker instead. Just got done installing 10 ceiling fans – including Casablanca Wisp x3, Casablanca Piston x3, Hunter Aker x3 and Minka Aire x1. All of those fans were of a higher quality and all but 1 did not even require balancing.

Very quiet fan and we love the way it looks! The fan has 2 very strong, metal brackets that hold the fan solidly. The yoke has a plastic ball that allows it to move as it spins, taking the centrifugal force off the mounting brackets and screws! Nice design and such a great buy!

The product produces nice air flow for a small-medium size room and appears modern and simple. The reason for my 3-stars is from the light fixture and one of the blades came damaged. Because of the position of the light fixture the light does not produce much brightness, so I it fine if you have windows or lamps in the room as well. Also, one of the blades came damaged on the edge, which was unfortunate. I installed the fan anyway because I could not wait to ship back and find a different fan.
