I purchased the “Blue (Ages 11-14)” set. It a good size for my 11 yr old, 57″ tall (4′-9″) son, and gives him room to grow.
You’ll receive the stand/bag with backpack strap, one driver, one hybrid (with head covers); two irons labeled “Long Iron” and “Short Iron”, a general purpose wedge, and a putter.
Everything is sized appropriately for the age group. Not only the length of the shafts, but also their flex, the weight of the clubs, and the diameter of the grips are all designed for the young player.
The entire set is light enough for your youngster to carry on their own and the backpack strap makes it easy for them to walk the course if they/you choose.
It’s a nice color-way that doesn’t make it look like a child’s toy (it’s not, these are real golf clubs), which will give your young golfer more confidence and make them proud to own/carry these on the course.
I think it’s a decent value from a well respected golf brand, and is a good choice for a child learning the game. If you have a more advanced tween age player you might want a more complete set.
The clubs, especially the irons, are not terribly good. I understand that you get what you pay for, and for a “play” set to get a small child interested in the game, I suppose its fine, but my niece found the irons virtually impossible to get airborne (including the wedge), while any “modern” clubhead (last 10 years or so) attached to a ladies shaft gets WAY better results, which is way more fun (and less frustrating) for her. My suggestion – go to a golf shop and let them put together a small set from used clubs for you, will be something a child’s swing can grow into. My two cents worth…

These work very well. My normal-sized (ok, slightly smaller than avg) 9-year old can get after it with these, and the quality seems to be on par with any good set of clubs.
I bought this for my 11 year old son who is learning to play golf. I was impressed with the quality of the clubs and bag. He has used them several times and they are holding up well.

Our daughter outgrew her other clubs and these are just the right replacement. Nice set with graphite shafts and just the right clubs. Driver, FW, Hybrid, Long iron, short iron, sad wedge and putter. Appear well made and work well.

I got these for my 6 year old thinking they would be great and they are. The clubs look and freel great and are well made. My only issue is the sizing. The selector on Amazon says ages 7-10 however when I got the box it says 8-11. She’s tall for her age which is why I went with the 7-10, but 8-11 is just to big.
Purchased this item for my 8 year old daughter a couple
of months ago. She is learning to golf with the First Tee
group in Tulsa. She also plays along with my wife and
myself. She likes the set of clubs, which includes only
6 pieces. Overall, it is a good set of beginner clubs for

Good budget starter kit with room to grow, but the driver and the hybrid are poorly designed. Driver and hybrid have adequate lofts, but not designed well to get the ball up in the air. I ended up buying my kid a different driver. Donât expect these to last more than a year of consistent practice and play.
