Very Good Quality!!! I can’t believe that there people that would leave this sun shade a bad review. The quality of this shade is fantastic. The material is strong and tightly woven which is why it is water proof. The corner and seams are strongly sewn with nylon strap reinforcing the corners and a steel D loop instead of a grommet. For the reasonable price I paid, I can’t see how tis shade could be of any better quality. Maybe the detractors expect the equivalent of a $200 custom heavy duty canvas shade for $30. This shade is not made out of the heavy duty waterproof canvas you see on boat covers but it is made of a very high quality material.

This is pretty awesome, with a few caveats.
1) The ropes supplied stretch some, so be sure to buy some all-cotton sash cord if you want more stability.
2) It’s not 100% waterproof, some rain will drip through.
3) The rain will tend to pool in the lowest area of the screen, even if you slant is properly to force run-off. You’ll get some drippage there, but once you know where the low spot is you can plan around it.

Overall, I’m happy with the product. It wasn’t as weatherproof as the pop-up canopy I used to have but I’m also not having to walk around poles and the area is now full of light instead of being a small cave.

downgrading my review from 5 to 1 star. I loved the product but now after barely one year of sun exposure, the top side has faded considerably and all the D rings are full of rust. Considering this product is specifically made for outdoor and sun protection, I am disappointed. Same thing happened with the red version.

PREIOUSLY:
brighter color and more resistant in my opinion, compared to the usual canopy shade sail. The look feels more luxurious and higher hand. It’s not fully waterproof, but I can see it’ll hold up better. At the same time, consider that it also picks more wind up, like an actual sail, due to its more dense material.

These sun shades are absolutely the bomb! I ordered several and they were all great quality I have had these up for a little while now. They have handled Monsoon rain season (rain every other afternoon) with high winds and brutal sun in between. The stitched D rings have held up perfectly and there is no fading tearing or damage on the sails. I may upgrade to a better rope, however the rope provided has worked out well and is a great plus, allowing me to go ahead and install them. I bought SS pulleys and carabiners to allow for taking them down when the weather gets bad, however I have left them up and they are fine. I will take them down in the winter. These are not waterproof however in pouring rain they do seem to funnel the water to the lowest point allowing for some protection and in lighter rain you could be happy with them for keeping the area ‘less wet’. Overall great service. I had a package lost in shipping and they rushed the replacements in time for my project date.

These are really well made. We stretched this over our new deck a few weeks ago just in time for monsoon season in NC. I have a nice dry triangle over my patio set after every rain. We did hang at an angle to help block afternoon sun and let water run off away from the house, so no puddling issues due to the waterproof nature of the product and the way we oriented the sail. So far, so good. We love our sail. Sure beats old school umbrellas.

Look great! They aren’t top quality, but worth $35. I ordered cheaper ones that looked like those blue home Depot plastic tarps. This one looks like canvas.

They are waterproof, so if you don’t mount them at a significant angle they are going to collect water. I cut a hole in it and added a grommet to drain off the rainwater.

The material used in the Winscreen4less is similar to what would be found in a lightweight tablecloth, very thin, smooth material.
