This is a full-grain leather, which means the external part of the hide is kept intact. For this reason, only the finest, most impeccable calfskins can be used. This part, directly exposed to air, is made of very tight fibres, which make it the strongest, most durable part of the hide. In addition to ageing beautifully over time, full-grain leather also resists moisture very well due to the natural protection granted by the tight fibres.
