WORX WG509 TRIVAC 12 Amp 3-In-1 Electric Blower/Mulcher/Vacuum with Multi-Stage All Metal Mulching System,Black
The Worx 350 cfm â 12A Electric TRIVAC Blower/Vac is your 3-in-1 complete leaf and debris clearing system. Blow the leaves into a pile, flip the switch and suck them up and mulch them into the collection bag, and dump it for compost or collection. It takes a chore that often lasts all afternoon and makes it go much quicker. It takes 18 bags worth of leaves and chops it down into 1 with its powerful two-stage metal impeller and shredder blades. If a leaf blower is better than a rake, the TRIVAC is better than a regular olâ leaf blower. You donât even need to switch out tubes to change between functions. You just flip a switch. And that tube is angled so you can get under patio furniture and the deck without having to squat or get on your hands and knees. And even though this machine blows out air between 80 and 210 mph, it weighs less than 10 lbs and has been engineered to be operated with just one hand. That means almost anyone can use it to clean up the yard or blow out the driveway. The collection bag technically holds 1.2 Bushels of yard waste, but again, with the 18:1 mulcher, thatâs going to be 18x more leaves than if you were raking or blowing the traditional way. Stop making yard work such a chore, and grab yourself a TRIVAC 3-in-1 Blowing, Vacuuming & Mulching System.
WORX WA4054.2 LeafPro Universal Leaf Collection System for All Major Blower/Vac Brands
What used to take all day can now be completed in a fraction of the time with the Worx LEAFPRO Universal Leaf Collection System. Hook it up to pretty much any leaf blower/vac on the market and suck up all the leaves on your lawn. Youâll have to stop to empty it far less than if youâre just using the bag that came with the blower/vac. And if your blower/vac has mulching capabilities, you can fit an entire large yard worth of leaves into one waste container and only empty it once when youâre done. Thatâs why we call it a no-touch high-capacity leaf collection system. The LEAFPRO is durable, with a hood made of tear-resistant material, a professional-quality 8-foot hose, and a multi-fit adapter that forms a tight seal with the output valve of 90% of the blower/vacs out there. It works with Black & Decker, Husqvarna, Poulan, Craftsman, Ryobi, Toro, Murray, and many more. And while it fits most of our Worx blower/vacs, this model is not compatible with the TURBINE Fusion. Check out the WA4057 model for use with that blower/mulcher/vac. It wasnât so long ago that you needed a rake and an entire Saturday to clear a large lawn. With the LEAFPRO hooked up to your trusty blower/vac, youâll be back on the couch before you know it.

Received this machine a couple of days ago, we had some rain so I let the leaves dry up for a couple of days then I went to work with it. I’m a Home Improvement Contractor so tools is what I know. The following is my list of Pros & Cons to help you understand my experience working with this tool
1. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye
2. Lever changes it from blower to vac w/ no downtime changing
3. One button take apart to access impeller should the need arise
making for ease of cleaning impeller and for storage
4. Powerful enough to displace most leaves
5. 6 position switch for choosing blower/vac speed
6. Reasonably well balanced using strong hand
7. Vacuum head is angled to ground when held to maximize efficiency
1. While impeller is cast iron the surrounding housing is plastic
enabling twigs with a diameter of slightly less than your pinky
to lodge between impeller and housing causing impeller to freeze
while motor groans to an agonizing halt prompting you to shut it
down PDQ or risk probable burnt motor.
2. Using unit with universal leaf collection system leaves you without a
shoulder strap to help alleviate the working weight of the unit.
If you do enough leaves you’ll know what I mean.
3. Made in China ( sorry just not a big fan of tools made in China.
Material and craftsmanship go along way. If you’re a tool geek, you
4. On/Off switch feels too hard to engage especially with gloves and
especially when impeller binds and you need to shut it quick
5. Leaves need to be bone dry if you’re gonna mulch effectively.
Moist leaves are difficult to pick up, leave a dirt caked residue all
along the pick up tube, impeller and housing making you stop to
clear it often enough to be problematic.
6. One handed operation for extended period is fatiguing.
A second handle forward of the body of the tool is necessary for
two handed operation.
Well folks that’s all I have for ya… Overall this machine helps with yard work but could be improved to make the purchase smart instead of necessary.
We bought the Trivac along with the Leaf Pro and it is a workhorse. We live in a heavily wooded neighborhood with lots of Hickory and Oak trees. I was concerned about the Hickory nuts and Acorns, but the trivac powered through most of them. I gave it a workout on piled leaves, some wet and some dry, some small limbs still attached. It ate practically everything I threw at it.
It jammed twice (out of 6 hours of use over 2 days) on two thumb sized stick pieces. Both times required unplugging (for safety) and using pliers to pry them out. It got clogged twice. Once on wet leaves and once when the leaf pro got full over the can (both times my fault). It has to have air space to continue suction. We found that leaving the can horizontal (ours is square) worked better that having the hose go into the top. When full, we tipped the can up and removed the leaf pro to roll the mulch to the back yard.
It sucked up more than a few rocks and sand from our driveway, but turning it off and letting them fall out was easy. It did not seem to interfere with the productivity.
Our reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I’m short at 5’3″ and I still had to stoop a bit to get the vacuum opening nearer to the ground. My husband who is 6’2 really had to stoop and that is killer on the back. It would be better with a longer tube for taller people. I have attached photos of day 2 of the 6 hour test. It took 3 hours to get this pile up (a lot of it was wet and lots of Hickory nuts). Picture of the size of these nuts. Impressive that it could mulch them. FYI – we have the metal blade unit.
This thing is just as it says! But see do’s and don’ts below. The blower is nice and strong, & I found if I’m just trying to push the leaves in a general direction vs making a pile, I can turn it to vac (just watch where you aim the nozzle which would be sucking in air) and use the bottom end to blow leaves even faster, then switch back to the blower to make piles. The vac is excellent, I did 3 piles that last year would’ve filled 10 bags that hold 30 gallons, & they filled 3/4 of ONE 30 gallon bag. I do however have a couple of sweet gum trees and the seed pods when damp or fresh can and will get stuck in the grinder so see below. It does however handle small twigs like a champ as long as they’re DRY. It is easy to pull apart and clean out after each use and the trash can attachment is an absolute must for big jobs or you’ll be emptying the bag every 15-20 minutes or so. I have and would recommend this to anyone.
Don’t: Vac up wet/moist or green/fresh fallen leaves twigs, seed pods etc. They tend to stick inside the propeller and it ceases to work. If this happens shut it off immediately, unplug, open and use a flathead to get the object unstuck.
DO: If you are vacuuming a pile a few days after rain, stop when you start reaching the damp leaves at the bottom. Give them a day to dry.
Don’t: Put this away without cleaning.
DO: After EACH use, open it up so you can get to propeller, clean the cavity and edge. Dust and dirt accumulate from the ground up leaves and it will make it hard to close later. It is very east and takes less than 2 minutes. Maintenance like this will extend the life of any yard tool.
Faulty Zipper on the bag
Reviewed in Canada on April 23, 2020
Purchased this Item in the fall last year to use this year as it was a good price. Just used this to vacuum dry leaves up in a rock garden for the first time today. The actual unit works awesome both on the blower mode and then on the actual vacuum mode.
Zipped up the bag for the first time and it zipped up easily as it was fresh out of the box. When I used it, at about half full I emptied the bag and then it took about 10 minutes to zip-it back up as it kept catching somewhere along the track. I finally got it zipped up and vacuumed another half bag and emptied it.
This time I shook the bag out really good and wiped the teeth to make sure it was relatively clean. Then I tried to zip the bag up, after 20 minutes of trying to zip it up, inching back and forth at a time, I stopped as I don’t want to bend any teeth as I could only get to a certain point on the track each time. Now I am doing internet searches on how to fix the issue.
Never got it to fully zip up and the vacuum setting is no good unless the bag is fully zipped otherwise you will be just blowing mulch out of the hole in the bag.
Hoping to hear from the company and get a replacement bag as I do think the actual unit works awesome and I just got a faulty zipper, otherwise it will just be a leaf blower.
A good job but awkward.

I needed something to clean up the patio area where leaves and blown bits arrive. I am 6’2″ and I find this item cumbersome to use mind you it does the job. The metal impeller chews everything up to almost sawdust size so I do save on yard bags. My 83 year old neighbor gal wanted one but I discouraged her as my wife found the blower very difficult to manipulate.
Used it as a stand-alone leaf shredder with the bag …

Used it as a stand-alone leaf shredder with the bag and with the WORX WA4054.2 LeafPro collection unit. It worked well with both. My only gripe is that the shoulder strap is too short (I am about 6 ft tall) even when fully extended so I end up using it more as a forearm strap which is kind of awkward and uncomfortable. Plenty of air flow as a blower and it is able to handle damp oak leaves as a vacuum/shredder so the primary functions work well. The dual metal impeller blades work well on leaves and small twigs.

As advertised. What would have taken 8 to 10 paper leaf bags, only took one. Amazing and easy to use.

Very impressed with this product.
The blower is strong enough to push a big pile of leaves and even while they were somewhat wet.
The suction was great, just need to wiggle the tip when it tries to grab too much then it all gets sucked up. The mulching blade also seems to be well made, avoid branches but it ripped through twigs with ease.
Mulching bag is easy to empty.
The strap helps balance the unit while operating.
