The reason I had to give this umbrella only 2 stars is because it lasted me less than 7 weeks as far as color goes. I bought it specifically to match a grill I have by it and the dark green colors were matching perfectly. I really do love the lights and the shade it gives. I did have to buy a stand right away but that`s OK. The problem is the sun faded the color really bad, really fast! There was nothing the seller could do about it since I did not reach out within 30 days, but I felt disappointed because it did cost a lot of money and I did not want a faded/yellowish umbrella color. I attached a pic…the color in the middle is obviously the color that I was hoping would last at least for one season.

Super happy with the umbrella. It looks exactly like what’s pictured. There wont be any surprises. The crank mechanize for lifting the umbrella open and closed works well, and auto locks as your raising the umbrella. This prevent the umbrella from folding back down until your ready for it to do so. The tilt feature seems to work well. It’ll tilt in two directions and then locks in place. There is a 18650 1500mAh 3.7v Lithium Ion rechargeable battery inside the solar box that attaches to the top of the umbrella. I have a charger for this type of battery so I charged it up before attaching it to the top of the umbrella. You wont need to do this but now you know what kind of battery is in it if it ever fails. It’s super easy to replace if you ever need to. The LED lights all worked and look nice. You might not be able to read under it at night with the lights on, but you could easy eat under it at night as the LED lights provide plenty of light for that. I also sprayed down the umbrella with Star Brite Waterproofing and UV protectant in a spray bottle https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000AY4RE/ to help keep the umbrella from fading and to add water proofing. These type of umbrellas are known to fade their color over time, and the product I listed will help prevent that from happening and extend the life of the umbrella. You will need an umbrella base to hold the umbrella stand to keep it upright. It doesn’t come with one which is fine. But very pleased with this so far.

This umbrella is awesome. Liked it so much bought one for my sister. LED lights have NEVER not had enough “life” in them to light at any time. NOTE: there are no instructions when you get this umbrella, there is a tiny red switch on one of the braces up under the umbrella to turn them on. Took me FOREVER to figure this out. Lights really do provide a lot of light! You won’t need an outdoor flood light to enjoy your back yard under this.

Very durable and looks amazing. The lights provide more than enough light at night without flooding the area with too much light.

I shopped for these umbrellas all over town before checking here. This one was priced right and I needed solar lights because I don’t have an outlet close to the patio. You attach the solar panel to the top of the umbrella.
The fabric looks nice, has held up well aside from some fading, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.I’ve left it outside continuously for over a month now with no cover. If you get a cover for it, you may not have much of an issue at all.
The hand crank is plastic as far as I can tell but works perfectly. It opens up smoothly and very easily. Tilt is also easy to use and a feature I wanted.
The lights are impressive! I love that there is an on/off switch so you you’re not stuck with them on all the time. They are nice and bright. You could probably read a book under it in the middle of the night. This was exactly the umbrella I was looking for.
The only things missing are a tie/closure and a cover. For the price this was offered, I was fine with finding my own.

I purchased two in early summer ’15. Both umbrellas faded badly over the summer and one of the umbrellas had the lights go out within two months of purchase; on this umbrella, the light switch didn’t work originally and the lights stayed on continually until they completely failed. On a slightly windy day, both umbrellas snapped and were destroyed. Crappy, crappy quality of construction compared to other umbrellas in my backyard.

Worst customer support EVER. The LED lights lasted less than two months. I must admit they did work but the electronics were most likely very faulty and died out of nowhere. I contacted their support who did indicated by email that they were willing to do a one time exception to exchange the product as they only grant a 30 day exchange. 30 days is just unacceptable. You’d barely know something was wrong in 30 days — Anyway I think perhaps I got the run around and they never called me back attempted to resolve the issue. BEWARE – DO NOT BUY THIS UMBRELLA. Buy some lights for umbrella locally.

See for yourself with this picture how badly faded it is. They claim to add UV 30+ its nearly white.

I ordered this because I was giving an evening Christmas party. It worked perfectly! I am so glad I bought it. I love the built-in lights that can be turned on with a switch. It was already charged when I set it up! What a nice surprise!
