Awesome Mattress. I found it based on a review on mattress grader .com (check it out if you are researching mattresses), and decided on this one. For the price its so good that I figured if it didnt come up to my expectation I would just return it. And so far so good! Im loving my new zinus mattress. Its so comfortable. I know theres other mattresses out there that are probably better and may last longer, but I am a student and cant afford too much.

I know theres other reviews saying this mattrewss can smell (I did not have this issue) or not inflate properly (i also did not have this issue), So i suppose that may be a reason why the price is so good. As long as you do not get a mattress with those problems im sure you will be happy! I hope my review helps 🙂

I was a little nervous getting this bed. A lot of the reviews were sponsored by the company which made them feel unreliable to me. A lot of the reviews also talked about how firm the foam is, which isn’t what my boyfriend and I were looking for. The shipping was very fast and reliable. Like others said it came in a medium sized rectangle box. Weight was aprox 70lb. I definitely couldn’t lift it up our flight of stairs. We let the bed rest for a day. I didn’t smell any offensive chemical smells. The bed rose to the full 12 inches for us quickly.

Most importantly the bed is by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever had. I wouldn’t say it’s firm. You sink down a few inches. It’s nice because both my boyfriend and I move around a lot in our sleep. You would never feel it in this bed though. It’s by far the best purchase I have I’ve made in years and would only buy this mattress again in the future.

**Update- so we have had this bed now over a year, and moved with it once. I’ve rotated the bed a few times since and can say I am so, so disappointed with how badly this bed has aged in the years use. My back and hip pain increases daily because of how badly the support is with the foam. The mattress is just not made to last. Awful. Wish I could return

We are very disappointed with this mattress. It started off very comfortable but after only 3 months it got very soft and starting hurting my daughters back. I contacted Zinus and sent several pictures that I feel showed that the mattress had compressed and the only advice they gave me was to sell this one and try to buy a new one. No thanks!

Ahh!! This mattress is awesome!! I couldn’t believe the price when I ordered and was afraid there was a catch. We loved our Tempur-Pedic but wanted to upgrade from Queen to King. It came in and was at full size really quickly! Packaging said to wait 24-48 hours and we were done waiting at 24! Slept on it last night and it is remarkably similar to our other mattress!! So happy with our purchase!!!

Mattress is very comfy, but after 6 weeks 3 of the corners have not expanded to the full 12″ depth ! 1 corner is only 9″ and 2 other corners are only 8″ ! I guess the mattress is faulty and needs replacing, but they want ME to ship a Cal King memory foam mattress back to them !!!!

I received my mattress without incident, but after giving it two weeks I decided it is way too soft for me (I feel like my head and feet and elevated and the rest of me is in a “u” shape). I have been trying to return the mattress every day since then, calling and leaving messages with the company (I wanted to see if they had another firmer option for me) and emailing them directly. They haven’t responded to any of my messages and emails and the deadline to return the product is quickly approaching. Beware that if you buy this product you may be stuck with it.

STAY AWAY!! The mattress came to me covered in MOLD. It was disgusting and the mold was deep in the fabric. Black, blue, and green mold. The smell was disgusting.

Obviously they have storage/handling issues.

I would give it zero stars if I could.

So disappointed. We were so excited to receive this mattress and finally sleep together at night. We built a king bed, and ordered this KING mattress to go with it. We were sent a queen/full size. Now we have to go through the inconvenience of repacking a very heavy mattress to return because their pickup times for returns don’t work for our Mon-Fri 7-5pm schedule. Don’t buy. They’ll send the wrong size and their product is actually under review because it’s a recurring problem of theirs. I wish I had known but at least I can spare you the trouble. I put 2 stars because the mattress was comfy. Still a waste of time and effort.

UPDATE: After emailing, calling, leaving messages, and waiting over an hour for someone to reply on their website chat, I finally got some instructions on how to return this after it’s opened (you can’t just get the return label and ship it in a box). Here’s what they sent me:
FILE WARRANTY CLAIM (MATTRESS) Please send an e-mail to customerservice@zinusinc.com; with your proof of purchase, photo(s) of the mattress (without bed sheets), a picture of the law tag with the manufacturing date (located on the corner of the mattress cover.

So SAVE your proof of purchase, even if you really believe the mattress will be perfect, just in case.
