Zinus Upholstered Diamond Stitched Platform Bed with Wooden Slat Support, Full

I just received my bed this morning and thought I’d leave a review because there aren’t many yet.. Looking at a similar bed by Zinus, I know they had a lot of problems with the back of the bed frame being damaged, parts not matching up, and mattresses not fitting. I also took note that their product had been put on hold as they resolved the issue.
So, this bed came perfect, was easy to put together (took about 20 minutes with brother) without extra or unmattching pieces, and my mattress fits perfectly on top without overhanging or the foot of the bed being elevated (as some had problems with the other one before).
Long story short. This bed came perfect and a huge thumbs up to Zinus for listening to their customers and fixing their issues.
Also, I attached a photo because I love seeing photos when I check reviews. For reference, my mattress is 10″ by Ghost Bed and bed size is king.

Note: This is day 1, I didn’t sleep on it yet, will update if issues arise.

I don’t typically write reviews but I’d like to leave some feedback for those that are in limbo like I was. I purchased the King Size bed frame. Overall it is a good bed. The metal framing is sturdy, the design looks great and the assembly can easily take you 20 minutes. The only downfall and by fair our biggest disappointment are the wood slats that the bed comes with. They are not sturdy and started bowing as soon as my husband laid on it. He weighs 276 and I weigh 170. Per the box this bed should be able to hold 500 pounds! We went ahead and installed extra support panels on top of the wood slats and the bed seems to be bowing a little less. For $154 you can’t really ask for much. However, I do not believe it can hold two very large people. If the wood slats were more study and held up without bowing this bed would be 5 stars easily.

This is my second Zinus bed frame purchase. I purchased this bed after noticing all of the positive reviews. Shipping was quick (the website stated it may take three-five days to receive it) I received it in two. UPS had a difficult time lugging this huge box into my apartment building and I had a hell of a time getting it up 5 flights of stairs. On the other hand, the bed is nice, sturdy, and the wooden planks are held in place by the Velcro straps. The bed is quiet and it can hold some weight. My partner is 6’7 250 and I’m 5’6 159 and it holds up . Assembly was simple due to the instructions (read the whole page of instructions before you start). Not a lot of under bed space and my headboard arrived with a few stitches missing from the seam. Overall, pleased with the look, feel, and quality. I moved my bed into a small space so you can get an idea of the size. I have a full size XL mattress set (my bed sits high due to the box spring- you do not need a box spring with this bed frame). We bought this Zinus Upholstered Diamond Stitched Platform king bed for a guest bedroom. Unlike inexpensive furniture from big box stores like Ikea, it was simple to put together. We had it set up in about 30 minutes. Assembly instructions are short, easy to understand. It only took an Allen wrench and 5-6 screws. I’m impressed by the design of the bed and quality of parts.

You can tell the company spent time thinking about how to deliver great design, quality and an easy assembly experience for the consumer. The frame is made of metal which is sturdier. Another nice touch was the velcro attached to the slats (which support the mattress). It keeps the slats in place on the frame. This is great because they can move around and make noise.

*Note: the bed is delivered in a large heavy box which is difficult to move by yourself. Once we moved the box inside the house, we unpacked the parts from the back side of the headboard and carried them into the room piece by piece for assembly.

If I need another bed, I will buy from this company and gladly recommend them to my friends. 5 stars.

Excellent product! Very easy to assemble. Looks great too. We purchased it for our guest bedroom and ordered a 10″ mattress. Very happy! Literally took about 20 min to put together. Great deal especially for the price. Wish they came in other colors we would upgrade our king bed!!

I ordered the bed frame on the 11th of April, and received it on April 18th. Unfortunately, the crossbar that provided the length was for a full sized bed, not a queen, so it was too short. I called Zinus customer service, and I received a new crossbar…however, I kid you not, this one is an inch or two too long for the side pieces! There is no way to adjust it, either. Customer service is closed right now, so I will call again tomorrow, but at this point, I’m frustrated. I bought a great mattress on the same day, and it’s working out great, but I still have no dang bed! I will update my review if I can just get a bed that works!
Update: I adjusted the star rating to 4 stars because, even though it took a couple of times to get it right, Zinus’s customer service did work with me, and made sure to address the problem, and get a new bed to us. It is sturdy, not noisy or squeaky, and the slats are good quality.

First off I have to say how impressed I was with the packaging, EVERYTHING is packed inside the headboard. It is easy to assemble and looks great!! I have cats who I knew would start to sharpen their claws on it and amazingly it doesnt hardly show any damage, the fabric is TOUGH!! Well worth every penny, I have already recommended to friends and family.
